Mishimoto MMINT-UZB Universal Intercooler Z-Line, Black

Looks good, feels pretty heavy duty, they took some pride in the construction of the intercooler and didn't cut any corners, if I had any improvement to add it would be adding some hardware and brackets for mounting would be nice but for the price and quality it's still a great buy. Bolts need to mount are a M12x1.25 pitch

Was a perfect fit for my current build. Was able to get it under the front cowl, made a slight cut in the plastic bumper and boom huge air flow getting to it. Needs an m12 fine thread bolt for mounting. But 6 mounting points makes it easy to find a spot to mount to or build a bracket like I did. Huge savings buying through here over actual site, however this is a genuine mishimoto part and couldn’t be happier with the product I receive.

Before you buy, get some hardware the it’s M12x1.25 had to run to the hardware store, they didn’t have short enough bolt so had to cut them down, but the intercooler itself is amazing quality, very strudy not cheap feeling I didn’t think it would’ve made a big difference, but let me tell you… it did. I had boost lag on my previous intercooler, but this one is almost no boost lag, I was blown away. Highly recommend. Btw in the picture it’s not perfectly straight because I didn’t mount it yet. After I mounted it it’s perfectly straight lol

The intercooler is pretty nice but it has the old Mishimoto logo instead of the M

It has a good size and the quality of the product is really nice, Im pretty satisfied with this intercooler. For the price is amazing!

Looks great and is so small. Sleeper look. Worth the money. Mishimoto are the leading manufacture in cooling products.

The quality is superior brand

I received my IC only to find that there are no bolts that came with the unit. I called Mishimoto and then verified that they send NO mounting hardware whatsoever. This made things more difficult in a time crunch. It was also found that Mishimoto themselves have bad documentation which should now be noted by the seller as well. The Mishimoto design and website calls for M12 x 1.75 bolts. THIS IS INCORRECT! The actual required size is M12 x 1.25. The install depth of the bolts into the welded nuts on the IC dictate a 5/8" to 3/4" bolt. I went to several places locally and found that I could get M12 x 1.75" bolts all day long at that length, but the 2 places that even carry a 1.25 in the M12 size only carried them in 1" long. I had a choice, either cut the 1" and deal with messed up threads or install with a nut being used as a spacer. Not really a good thing and not very professional. Due to these issues I can't give more than a 2 star currently as I can't even readily get the unit installed properly to see how it works.Other than this physically it appears to be a finely made product. The weld points all look clean and solid. The construction is definitely well done. I am also pleased that they give an option of either having the Mishimoto in white showing or not showing. You just install with the way facing that you wish. That is nice that they are not forcing you to do the logo.
