Please can you tell me how wide this is? I need a candle to sit in a holder that is approximately 6cm across.

It states 10 cm, so I guess it's...10cm. Which it is. Unless you get the 8cm one, which is probably 8cm

Do these candles burn smokefree??

All candles have smoke when lit so I would say no

Do these candles emit soot? Are they as clean as beeswax candles?

I've kept the wicks small on mine and have not noticed any soot whilst they're burning, I don't imagine they're as clean as a beeswax candle though, my purchase was for the lovely size of them, burn well ( I gently reshape after I've blown the candle out) still going strong.

No mess, long lasting

Absolutely love these pillar candles. They burn beautifully, are not smoky, no smell and no mess. Best I have used in years.

A candle

This is a candle of the expected dimensions advertised. You can light it using the wick at the top of the candle. The flat end of the candle is for standing the candle upright. When it is lit with a match or a lighter, you get a flame. The flame will burn the candle wax and gradually the candle will melt. This particular candle is white and works exactly as I hoped my candle would work.

Good Quality Candle

This is a good quality candle which is a nice size with a classic ivory appearance which I much prefer compared to the pure white candles. It is easy to light and burns with a nice bright flame without any signs of sooting or dripping. I've used this twelve times for over an hour each time. The candle is showing little sign of use and I can see that it is going to last for a substantial time. Highly recommended.

Second purchase. Long lasting candles.

I use these and the cheaper pillar candles from Sainsbury's. These definitely seem longer-lasting, and burn more evenly, making an even and slow hollow in the centre of the candle without the wax going everywhere.
