Hate waiting so long for final book!
Hate this wait! Have read almost all of Nora's trilogies: Dragon Heart (my favorite which I have re-read too many times to count) Chesapeake Bay, Boonesboro, McKade Brothers Blood Brothers, Chronicles of One, Three Sisters Island, Gallaghers of Ardmore, etc etc. Also several stand alones. This does not disappoint but Oh my goodness Nora, I am 82 years young & only pray I last long enough to read the final book in this wonderful story.

If you believe
The 2 book of this trilogy was packed with a lot of wow. I love how the spirits have personality. I enjoyed every chapter. I so look forward to Nov. 18th when I can read the final book. Job well done.

This is hard to understand where it is going. The writing as always is good. It just is taking the long way to get to a conclusion.

Better than the 1st in series. Much more cohesive. A 4.5
I liked that the characters remained true themselves. Also liked the smoother writing style in this book.I did not however enjoy the very abrupt ending, a real cliffhanger, but I will continue to read when the next book comes out.

Irresistible!
The intertwining humor, suspense and good story all make for a compelling page-turner. The relationships of the characters are very satisfying (wish I could come up with a better word). I can’t hardly wait for the third book!

Loved It!
A great follow up to "Inheritance." It was awesome to go back and visit Sonya and all of her houseguests. The narrator was phenomenal. I loved the increased tension with more and more occurrences throughout the house and I can't wait for the finale this winter!

Where Do I Start…?
Nora Roberts has written some of my all time favorite books, several of them trilogies. But whoever decided to space the releases each a year apart in my opinion miscalculated. The wait was tedious and I had to read The Inheritance again to reacquaint myself with the characters before I could dive into The Mirror. Since the story involves the deaths of 7 brides, each with their own back story and cast of characters, I think she should have provided readers with a family tree just to keep it all straight. That’s not including all the current day people we are introduced to as the main character Sonya goes about her day. It can get confusing. There are so many pets it becomes a distraction and one of the brides constant habit of playing songs to communicate got old after awhile. Nora must be a foodie too because a lot of her books go into great detail about the meals her characters make, plan, buy each day. It’s repetitive filler that’s unnecessary and doesn’t advance the story. This book drags with spurts here and there of something interesting enough to keep you going but overall if you’re going to make me wait a year to resolve a cliffhanger, it better be worth it. The ending of The Mirror is very weak and feels stunted… without enough reason to make me willing to wait another year for a resolution to what could have been a really exciting story presented in a single book. Could only muster up 3 stars for this one.
