Where has this been all my life? Such a life saver for mixing up stock solutions for my reef tank. Beats stirring and shaking for sure!

This magnetic paint mixer is perfect for mixing my paints for my scale models.Takes up very little room and yet gives great results in just seconds.Little to no noise and very much worth the money.This thing is made like a tank.

Works great! Unfortunately, they raised the price to double after I ordered the first two.

Bought the heated version. And it does not heat. Like not at all. It’s still 64° F. I looked at the owners manual as suggested. Not helpful at all. No instructions for heating. Which is the primary reason I bought it.

Worked for what I needed it for.

So don't be mistaken into thinking this thing is like a miniature blender, if you were to put in let's say some form of protein powder or hot cocoa mix into a mug and then put water in and drop this stir mechanism in it would probably have problems. These work better when you basically get the stirring action up and then slowly add your powdered ingredients to your beaker or mug or whatever you're doing to be integrated in real time. These types of stirring plates are not great for mixing a bunch of items just thrown in, they're more for stirring in powders and other dissolvable materials under active mechanical action.So the best way to use it is to only get your aqueous solution in your container then drop the beat in and get the speed setting go away where you have a nice tornado or whirlpool going, then slowly add your powdered or dissolvable ingredient and watch the stirring action quickly integrated into the rest of the solution.

Good little stirrer when you need to combine the elements. If you need to heat hem, switch to warmer or burner, for which this is a little less convenient than it might be.
