Q: Do I need to move the lenses for proper fit?

No, you don't need to move or remove anything on you Quest 2. The protector is a soft material, so you'll be able to fit it in.

Q: Do I need this if my headset is never in the sunlight

Even though I don't ever plan to expose my headset or lenses to direct sunlight, I figure it was inexpensive enough and a great way to protect the lenses from dust and fingerprints.

Q: Says compatible with g2 (premium) does that mean there is a separate premium version or i have to have a specific flavor of hp g2?

The standard lenses worked on my hpg2 v2

Q: Does this work for psvr 2?

I'm not sure of the dimensions of your PSVR2 so I am reluctant to answer. I will say the protector is a snug fit for the Quest Meta 2 headset.
