I was recently told by someone that there's way too much tension in my neck and I should get a neck traction device so I got this. The heat is really nice. As the instructions say it's uncomfortable in the beginning, but then it gets sort of relaxing. I feel like my neck might be getting better, although it might just be psychological. I never had any neck pain so I cannot weigh in on its effectiveness in that area. It stays plugged in so there's no need to worry about batteries.

If you are like me and have C5/C6 issues this device let’s you use the weight of your head to stretch your neck for better curvature. My chiro wanted me to do self traction with a towel but I went with this instead. Well worth it and the heat is a nice feature. Highly recommend for this problem.

I just received today and have already used the unit twice. Yes, it gets pretty hot on the max setting, but no worries, just turn it down. It feels good to get some relief from the constant neck strain due to too many hrs at my desk. I deducted one star since the one I received smelled weird, like fabric that had gotten damp and mildewed. I gave it a light spray with disinfectant and kept it though, since I was so desperate for relief from neck pain. Other than that, would highly recommend.

Yes it heats up, the massage nodules are there but do not work. How are they supposed to be activated?. Tried asking people who make it and gave me the run around on top of wrong email address, which tells me I gave them my money you figure it out on your own!!! Help!!
