Really like the build, size, shape and all the parts to this DAB/FM.... radio. Resembles a children's intricately detailed toy.Volume can reach to VERY loud.Sound quality is clean and clear - very acceptable balance of treble and bass.The display screen has sensibly sized writing, and the pace the writing moves across is not tediously slow.Torch is bright and focused (doesn't spread out very wide).Not overly light or weighty, and feels tough and rugged.In rain, have no idea how it'll stand up to that.The finger grip for wind up is fiddly, small and not comfortable to hold and wind. Am working out what to fit to it to extend the grip surface. Everything I have tried of this small DAB etc player is pretty pleasing. Worth it's price and well recommended!

Surprising sound quality for a small radio. Ideal for camping features a compass, torch, dab+& fm radio, sd card slot, usb port - both play mp3. Has Bluetooth (haven’t tried that) headphone socket. As well as charging with type c socket it has a solar panel and can be wound to charge the internal battery. Ideal for emergency use if power cuts happen like they have had in Spain and Portugal. Recommend

Got this for my dad and he loves it. He said it sounds great and having the dab and other gadgets are really useful.

This is a surprise. What a lovely little radio. It has a very nice, weighty, premium feel to it, and so many features. It was relatively easy to tune the DAB radio, and it sounds decent too, for such a small device. My only real gripe is the lack of rubber bumpers on the corners of the device, especially where the winding handle folds in. I don't intend my surprise to sound derogatory. I was not expecting this quality at this price. Ally this radio with a small power bank, and you're set to go for a couple days. As an old person, I have to get used to the fact that you could charge this radio up with the sun, then use the radio the charge up a power bank. You can then recharge several devices with the power bank while you listen to the radio. I would imagine that people who go camping would appreciate the torch built in, or maybe the compass if you're really roughing it, or the SOS function if you're in a bad spot. The size of the radio was also a surprise, being far smaller than I thought it would be, which is a good thing if you want to pack it in something with other stuff, I suppose. The radio is also a nice thing to look at. It will look good next to some military coloured stuff, or the usual dark camping colour scheme. Having said all of this, I am not an outdoors person, and have bought this radio for my son to listen to. I intend to put it on his window sill, and hopefully I won't have to charge it up too often as it will utilize the solar panels. Very happy with the value for money.

1st issue, product received as new had been previously installed and was not in an out of box start up condition. It had Australian DAB radio services installed.2nd issue, the product lacks mandatory CE conformity mark, it also lacks any traceability and batch or serial number and should not be sold in the EU or Uk.3rd issue, with the display brightness set to the medium setting, the display radiates interference into the loud speaker, a high pitched whistle is constantly heard at a relatively low but annoying level unless the display brightness level is set to max/ high. It’s not what I would say is a fault, it’s a design defect.4th issue, after station scan no audio. Need to power off and back on again. Suspect software issue.5th issue, compared to other DAB radios that I own this has generally poor performance, it breaks up and glitches when others don’t, it creates a poor impression of DAB radios in general but in reality the product performance is substandard.6th issue, software issue, volume adjustment does not work properly. The initial step from no volume is excessive and it lacks responsiveness, it’s either not been tested properly and or is another annoying software bug in the product.Over all, it’s a good product concept but in reality it’s poorly designed and has multiple glitches and bugs. It’s also not excusable to be shipping products that have clearly already been either pre used and possibly sent back reselling as new.7th issue,

Really surprised with this I never commented on what I buy this is neat, the charging aspect is not going to charge a fart let alone a mobile, unless a 5310 nokia but they probably still on 1 bar, very geeky looks nice and the dab works fine after you figure it out, tbh was only really ment for the garden any way, I give it a happy 6/10 make a nice present

Don't write reviews often, I am for this however. Absolutely fantastic product and has become a cherished part of my mobile/ camping equipment. It's small, has a punchy, bassy speaker, can be charged by usb-c, solar panel on back or hand-crank on the side! Battery last for Absolutely ages when just on normal volume and listening to talk radio etc (from 7pm, all the way into next morning, on continuously till 9am. Then charged up in the sun)Pro user tip: if the unit has been in storage and unused for 90 days or more, you need to hand crank the radio for at least 2 mins to kick it into life... then you can let the usb-c charger take over. Interestingly, usb-a to the c port on the radio worked fine, but charging from usb-c to usb-c didn't work. So use the large USB in the plug socket and the smaller type c into the unit (think it's something to do with voltage etc)Anyway, great item, truly, and I give it 10/10. Don't think too hard about whether to get it, just get it and I'm sure you'll love it. I use it in my kitchen while washing dishes, in the garden and whilst on camping trips. Perfect.
