This combines 2 products. Phage viruses which are the natural predator of specific bacteria for that phage. In addition, it contains the healthy bacteria that replace the (now dead) pathogenic bacteria that may have been inside the GI tract. There is a publication called "Natural Predator", which was mentioned on CNN, written by an Epidemiologist whose husband was infected while visiting the middle east. He subsequently went to Germany, then to San Diego. He nearly did not make it. If I recall correctly, she researched "phages" for herself, and suggested this care. 2 specific phages were found , one prepared by the U.S. Navy, and another at a Texas University. The bacterium was Acinetobacter, which years ago I had some experience working with in the late 1970's, and was considered a "harmless" soil bacterium. Since then, this organism has acquired multi-drug resistant characteristics that make it one of the most lethal bacteria. It is known to be in the middle east. The husband survived after treatment with the two phage species! It was nice that he did well and recovered!. Kudos to his wife who literally saved her own husband working with his doctors! This technology was pioneered way back in the day behind the Soviet block, specifically Tblisi, Georgia, Poland, and if I recall correctly other areas. The West went with antibiotics (we know how that is going). Behind the Soviet Block researchers, scientists and doctors went with the far less expensive Phage viruses. In the U.S., this is considered "compassionate care" only. But boy, is it effective. Maybe, just maybe some day, this will "catch on" as the natural solution to antibiotic resistance, especially in severe or chronic infections.

I really don’t know if they help with anything. I take them but don’t see much a difference in anything.
