It works fine but programming it messed up all our other controls so we had to reprogram them all. And yes we simply followed the instructions

This Remote 433.42 MHz KeyGo copy, transmits the same distance to my roller door receiver as the original Somfy KeyGo remote. It comes with instructions on how to program it. There are two methods listed, but I used my original Somfy manual for a third method.Positioning close to the garage door.On the old remote. Press and hold the two small buttons left and right until the (previously memorised) old remotes red LED quickly flashes. Then immediatly Press the main button for 2 seconds on the old remote.Then press the new remotes main button, and if a successful copy, the garage door will open.There are two other methods that come with the new remote, that learns it's frequency from the receiver without an original working remote.So I am very pleased and recommend this compatable copy KeyGo remote.

I followed the program instructions that came with the remote controls, both programed perfectly.absolutely no issues and i can not see any difference from the ones that came with my garage door.Would recommend.
