Great value
really easy to install and use. Great added security with out the price tag of a security firm fitting it.

great update to old alarm
I wanted to update my old alarm as my kids are getting older and have a key etc. This is a great product. installed in about 30mins, app now on the kids iphones and all works great. found some extra bits online as well to add some features like the external sounder and an internal keypad just incase. One great feature is it lets my wife and I know when the kids have come in and disarmed the alarm so we know they are safe. also it has an SOS feature so if they have a funny caller at the door you can set it off and we get a notification. loads of other programmable features like auto set.

Mixed performance
Easy to set up, pet friendly PIRs work well, app is good. No false alarms. However, I have had issues with the external (mains powered) siren beeping with arm or disarm despite setting to mute in the app. Have tried all sorts to resolve. Awaiting a fix from ERA currently.

Good but with flaws
We've had this for several years now, and perhaps this is the reality of wireless smart systems but it has not been smooth sailing. One consistent fault over the years are the door sensors rather than the motion sensors- they frequently fail when trying to link them, and then when setting the alarm we get a notification that they aren't linked (when we have finally managed to set them up) so won't be working. You can disregard this message and still set the system, but then whats the point in that....These are accessories that are no more than 10 metres away from the hub, and we have had this issue in two houses now. The motion sensors are exactly the same distance and not the same issue. The consistent advice is to remove and relink them, but this is only temporary.Slight edit- I have now moved the hub into the centre of the house and all the sensors seem to be linking perfectly. We did look into the range extender but it looked as though you needed the control unit (optional extra that we don't have), plus it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, to put it mildly. Chunky plastic unit with a metal extending aerial from the 90's.Further update- frequent false alarms now on this system whereby the alarm is clearly de-activated yet one of the accessories will still trigger the alarm. Frustrating
