Good value
I ordered this for my wife who wanted to try it out. She has long, naturally wavy hair which tends towards frizziness. She normally washes her hair then lets it dry naturally or uses a hairdryer; she does no styling of any kind but had her hair done by a hairdresser recently as she was a bridesmaid and it looked very nice. She tried to replicate what the hairdresser had done but admitted she had no real clue what she was doing. However, she found the brush extremely easy to use and just utilised it to create volume. The result was very nice and I even took a photograph of the back to show her. She will definitely use it again regularly and may even be brave enough to try different ways of styling her hair. She is very pleased with the quality of the product and that it turns itself off if she forgets. She also felt the box was very professional looking and good value for £40 at the time of review.

another good K & K product...
For a curling brush this is simply another good K & K product. It's strong, quick heating and it does the job well. The one point that goes against this is the description stating that this is good for "travelling". Being dual voltage does help when abroad, such as in the US where they use 110v compared to our 240v. When I mention 240v it's not exactly true as UK products have a 250v rating, the mains normally run at a rate of 240v but can reduce a low as 220v and also spike up to 250v. So, to protect the electrical goods they are designed for use at up to 250v.So, the dual voltage does help but one still needs adapters to plug into. Personally, that is a negative thing today as there are many products available that are USB rechargeable and can work as well. The only real advantage is using this product at home or for long periods and regularly when abroad. For simple, quick styling and brushing I find mains powered products are not as conveniient.Although the power issue is not a big deal I have reduced the rating by one star, to 4*. The reason being that these types of products were good for travelling abroad with five year ago but not so today and the seller has pushed the good for "travelling" spiel.Moving on, the brush is solid, well built and to a good quality standard. It's simple top use and is a good all rounder that can simply brush straight hair and also keep those waves / curls looking good. The weight is quite light so the brush is easy to handle thus less chance of mistakes caused by tired hands encouraging the user to spped up and do the job quicker than needed.I am recommending this brush as it is good quality and good value, with the quality expected of a K & K product.

Excellent quality and meets its purpose
Excellent drying brush. Low wattage too.The materials feel like excellent quality and the brush feels like itll last a while. The other half says she is happy with the how fast the brush heats up and the straightness she can achieve when using it.

Versatile thermal brush
The K&K Thermal Brush is great to use firstly as it has a long cables o you're not stuck to being near the socket. Even better the brush features super ionic generation to eliminate static and tame frizz leaving your hair looking amazing. I have short hair which curls when first washed but tends to droop the next day so I used the brush for its volumising properties and was happy with the results. My granddaughter has long curly hair and she likes to ring the changes, The K&K Thermal Brush was great for straightening her hair and it looked fabulous plus she can use it to produce larger, looser curls. She is delighted with it.Plus there's no worries about it being left on as the brush turns off if not in use after one hour.Highly recommended.1.5 Inch Heated Round Brush, Professional Heated Curling Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic Curling Iron, Hot Styling Volumizing Brush, Dual Voltage for Traveling

Expensive - expected more!
I was extremely disappointed with the K&K Thermal Brush. Despite its promising claims of advanced ceramic tourmaline ionic technology and rapid heat-up for professional styling, it fell dramatically short in practice.Inconsistent Heating and Performance: The brush took much longer to reach the optimal temperature than advertised, and even then, the heat distribution was uneven. Parts of the barrel would get excessively hot while other sections barely warmed up, leading to uneven curls and making it nearly impossible to achieve a consistent style. Instead of creating smooth, voluminous curls, the results were patchy and unpredictable—definitely not what you'd expect from a tool marketed for professional use.Ergonomics and Design Flaws: The design, which was supposed to offer an anti-scald and comfortable experience, instead proved to be rather unforgiving. The handle felt flimsy and offered little grip, making extended styling sessions uncomfortable. Additionally, the rotating power cord—though intended to enhance maneuverability—tended to tangle and hindered the overall usability of the product. These issues made the styling process more frustrating than enjoyable.Build Quality Concerns: On top of its performance issues, the overall build quality left much to be desired. The plastic construction felt cheap and fragile, raising doubts about its durability over time. After only a few uses, it seemed evident that this brush wasn’t built to withstand regular or rigorous styling.Final Thoughts: For the premium price and advanced-sounding features, the K&K Thermal Brush was a major letdown. Its inconsistent heating, uncomfortable design, and poor build quality make it a tool I cannot recommend. If you’re serious about achieving salon-quality results at home, you’re better off exploring other options that truly deliver on their promises.
