Pleasant Experience
The cream has a pleasant but not overwhelming floral fragrance. The level of grit for exfoliation is well balanced without being too rough and leaves the face feeling clean. Only a small dab is necessary for a facial scrub and it’s a nice addition to a weekly or twice-weekly skincare routine. I would recommend to anyone looking to take better care of their skin

Coarse exfoliant but keeps skin hydrated
Product comes with an inner seal so it’s great. The exfoliant is medium in viscosity. The smell is floral and it’s subtle and does not linger after rinsing. The grit is coarse and isn’t fine for skin polishing. It doesn’t over dry skin and keeps my skin hydrated after. It contains seed oils so it keeps the skin moist. The quality is okay for a product at this price range. My face does feel softer after use.

Nice grit for a good cleanse
This cleanser has a nice, effective grit to it. It doesn’t hurt or feel overly abrasive, but it definitely loosens the old skin cells and dirt thoroughly. I like to massage it into my face dry and then wash it off with warm water. It has a mild floral fragrance that I really like, but might be too much for anyone who wants to avoid scent.

Good quality face cleaner
I can't really speak to the "Enzymatic Papain Enzymes" aspect of this face cream, or verify if "Volcanic Sand" was used haha, but I can say that this face-cleanser feels really nice on my skin. The cream is nice and smooth, doesn't sfeel oily, and the exfoliating sand component isn't too rough. My face feels nice and clean and refreshed after using it. The price for the little 2.53 fl. oz. container seems crazy high to me -- I'm the kind of guy that thought upgrading from regular soap to a foaming CeraVe cleanser is as high-end as it gets -- but my wife says for a ritzy brand like Laboratoires Filorga Paris, this is pretty standard, and in line with some of the other top-tier cleansers she's used. Actually, she's probably going to take this face cleanser from me, because she says it's the good stuff and she'll appreciate it more haha. Outside of the price, it is really nice.

Not for me
I was hoping for a finer texture. I dont really like exfoliation that is harsher. I also dont like the scent. I just don't understand why it is added. It is irritating to many. This isn't for me, but you may like it if you skin isn't too sensitive to the pumice and scent.

It does clean my face
I'm not an expert in skincare by any means, but about two years ago I visited a dermatologist for a skin issue, and since then, I’ve started using a wider range of products to clean and care for my face. This cleanser has stood out to me for how quickly it delivers visible results. Even after the first use, I noticed a clear difference compared to my previous face wash. What sets this product apart is the inclusion of volcanic sand particles, which do a great job of exfoliating and helping to remove dirt and buildup from my pores—especially around my forehead and nose. I spend a lot of time working in my garden and around the house, so I often end up covered in dust, dirt, or worse. I typically apply this cleanser while showering, and by the time I’m out, my face feels fresh and thoroughly clean.

Gentle exfoliation, but underwhelming
This enzyme cleanser feels very mild on the skin—I’ve been using it as my morning wash, and it doesn’t leave my face tight or dry. However, the exfoliating effect is barely noticeable. Even after consistent use, I didn’t see much difference in pores. Might be better as a gentle option for sensitive skin.

Smoother skin for more even makeup application
This Filorga Cleanser uses a combination of enzymes (Papain) for chemical exfoliation and Volcanic Sand particles for physical exfoliation mixed into a thick, creamy paste. I found that my favorite way to use this was after I had already washed my face with my regular cleanser. That way, all of my makeup and sunscreen was already washed off and I could focus on using this to smooth my skin and deeply cleanse my pores. I like to gently massage it into my wet skin for some physical exfoliation and then let it sit for another minute so the enzymes can have more time to work before rinsing it off. I have sensitive skin and this didn't cause any irritation. It leaves my skin feeling softer and looking smoother for a more even makeup application.
