The quality of the papers are good. It has 776 pages and each topic has been divided in an excellent manner. First two units covers the fundamental part of the English grammar and the rest all units covers the entire English. The book is also divided into 4 parts(Part-A,Part-B,Part-C,Part-D). This book is available in the market for about 250 to 270 rupees which is almost near to the M.R.P. of the book. But here we can get it for a much lower price. I bought this book for just 171 INR.Part-AUnit-I covers Tenses,Voice,Modals. Unit-II covers Kinds of sentences and clauses, Clause analysis, Non-Finite Verbs, Verb. Unit-III covers Articles, Noun, Pronoun. Unit-IV covers Adjective, Adverb, Preposition. Unit-V covers Phrasal verbs, Idioms & Phrases. Unit-VI covers Spotting errors, Sentence Improvement, Selecting the correct sentences.Part-BThis covers Paronyms & Homonyms, One word substitutes, Words with meanings, Synonyms & Antonyms, Foreign words and Expressions, The sentence completion, Cloze test.Part-CThis covers Sequence of sentences, objective comprehension.Part-DThis covers Narration, Synthesis, Transformation, Punctuation, Spelling rules, Contractions.This is about the whole book in detail. The Author has written the book in an excellent sequence to help the students understand each and every topic clearly and in a simple manner. Buy this book with confidence as this will cover what all you need in your competitive exams.

1. This is a big book. More than 700 pages.2. Lots of solved problems.3. The theory portion is very advanced. It is not suitable for a beginner. I found it quite difficult to understand anything Chapter 4 onwards. I have realised to use this book for more benefits, I should study grammar fundamentals from some easy sources. Once I have done that, then I can proceed to quickly go through the theory in this book and solve the questions. Even after doing that, I will do tons of mistakes, that I can guarantee. In a nutshell, this book is very tough. The questions would make an English grammar expert too humble. However, solving the book 3-4 times would make you an expert.4. As many other commenters have already pointed out, the page quality is bad. But what better can you expect for 150-170. It should be much of a problem.5. Some of the questions didn't make any sense to me at first. But later I found that those were to make one use its brain.6. I have found few error. I might find more.Summary:Overall, a nice book.One should revise it multiple times for better understanding.Go through easier books on basics of grammar before you read it.

Very nice book. First I was shy to buy this book as arihant books are very common. but when I purchased this book I came to know the greatness of the content of this book. Its a revised edition. Subject matter is very nice. Very good for competetive exams as well as for improving english for engineers because in engineering our main focus was in technical subjects even after passing college. But after reading this book I came to know that how much it is imortant to every student or every aspirant who in need of a good book for English language. Go for it blindly. Guyz trust me.
