Although I have not tried many different brands of coals, there is a reason I have not strayed from these. They burn slow and easily last an hour, more often than not the tobacco has to been changed before the coal itself. They ignite instantaneously and I am able to pull smoke in less than a minute. Very satisfied with the quality, quantity, and price. Worth every penny.On a negative note, every once in a blue moon I will find a 'dud' that seems to give me problems igniting. The problem happens so rarely that it doesn't affect my opinion of the product, I simply toss it and ignite another.

I use this for burning powdered and resin incense. It lights easily and burns very hot and very long. Half a disc is sometimes all that is needed to burn the equivalent of a regular cone, maybe even two. When I first started burning resin incense I had ordered a three roll pack upon someone else's recommendation that Three Kings was the best and they were right. Was finally on the third roll and decided to buy a larger amount to save $$ over time. Also opted for the 40mm size discs, a bit larger and can hold more incense at once to burn so I do not have to keep adding to it.

I've tried many other coal brands and this is the only one I will buy. It lights quickly, easily, and lasts... The only reason for not giving them a 5 star is that some coals were broken from shipping which is a little annoying.

These are the best and I will not purchase any other. First time to use them and I’m impressed. Larger so that they fit my burner properly so less wasted resin…I’ve wasted so much frankincense with other tabs because it would fall off to the sides. Also, the quality is phenomenal-a good, clean burn. So glad I discovered these!

This larger, 40mm size, is a nice quality charcoal. It lights easily and does not smoke much when lit. Stays hot for upwards of 45 minutes. I use this for an Orthodox Christian hand censor during the services. The way the charcoal is cupped also makes it hold-on to the incense while in use. I would recommend these to anyone for Church use and I will definitely be ordering more!
