Greéeeeéat speed loader
These speed loader are so easy to use if you complain about these in any way shame on you these do have a small bullet shake when locked into the holder but that a good thing it makes for it to line up in cylinder for ammo to drop in could not be no simpler speed loader then this I use it on a Ruger sp101 2.25 barrel and it works great and it's has a hogue grip install sometimes I may have to move it a little to get ammo to drop in but that not a problem load the loader line it up when it stops push down on the case holding the bullets not the center the case you will hear a click bingo pull off they fall in practicing a little you be a pro these are so easy to use now as far as long long they last I say as long as the gun will .lol no they seem to be well made they are light but work well get your you will not be disappointed.

Revision CV Ammo Pod (Speed Loader) Caliber .38 Spl / .357 Mag
The Revision CV Ammo Pod is a game-changer for firearm enthusiasts who prioritize speed and efficiency during shooting sessions. Designed to fit S&W J-Frame and Ruger LCR models, this 5-shot speed loader ensures a seamless reloading experience, making it a must-have accessory for every gun owner. They are specifically designed for caliber .38 Spl / .357 Mag, compatible with S&W J-Frame and Ruger LCR models. The streamlined design allows quick and easy loading, saving precious time during shooting sessions. They are constructed from high-quality materials, ensuring durability and longevity. Simplified design makes it easy for novice and experienced shooters to reload easily.I particularly appreciate the ease of use and reliability of the Revision CV Ammo Pod. I use this with a S&W J Frame revolver and it works great. Someone mentioned this won't work with an S&W 642, and no speed loader with work with a stock 642. Unless you modify the grips on the cylinder swing out side. These cylinders are too close to the frame to allow any speed loader to function unless you're willing to cut out the grips. to accommodate them. Like someone else mentioned you will want to put a string on the cap that covers the rounds if you plan to use this for personal protection. This will allow you to get the cap off quickly should the need arise. I still prefer the Safariland speed loaders but these work just fine.In conclusion, the Revision CV Ammo Pod (Speed Loader) Caliber .38 Spl / .357 Mag is a versatile and reliable accessory that is sure to elevate your shooting experience. With its innovative design, compatibility with popular firearm models, and emphasis on speed and efficiency, this speed loader is a valuable addition to any gun enthusiast's arsenal.

Simple
Easy and simple….just push in with no turning or whatever to release cartridges. My only problem with this particular speed loader is it hits the thumb rest on my grips, thus not allowing a straight insertion. Too bad… I have this same speed loader for a .22 revolver that has 9 cartridges, and it works wonderfully.

Probably the best speedloader I've used
I'm honestly surprised to find that I like this revision cv .38 Special/.357 Magnum Ammo Pod for S&W J-frames and Ruger LCRs as well as I do. I've used HKS speedloaders since the mid-Eighties and Safariland Comp IIs since the early Nineties as well as zeta6 J-Paks and J-Clips, CKT Tactical Ripcords, Bianchi Speed Strips, DeSantis Swift Strips and the 5 Star aluminum speedloaders for this style/size revolver. My previous preferences were the Safariland Comp IIs, the zeta6 J-Clips and J-Paks and they're all good, but Mr. Vang has a product here that beats all of these for my use. Simple, FAST, easy to operate, trustworthy and reliable - and also priced decently and available. I don't find that the rubbery cover pops off as quickly as it might, but it was easy to address the issue with some strategic lubrication and better too tight than too loose! Locking the ammo into the clips is MUCH simpler and faster than even on the one-piece zeta6 products and just seems impossible to mess up when compared to the Safariland Comp II. While all these devices are reasonably quick to load a cylinder, the revision cv Ammo Pod is the fastest for me. The fact that it works just fine with both a J-frame and an LCR is a real bonus for me, too. I intend to buy more now that I've tried this one out.

Great concept, horrible execution
I really wanted to like this because the idea is great. I especially like the idea of the cover so that I can put the speed loader into a pocket for concealed carry. The problem is the one noted by other people. It just won't work with a S&W J frame in .38 Special.I tried if first with a 642. That gun has thicker Delta Ergo grips, and I couldn't even get the rounds to load into the cylinder because the walls of the cartridge holder bound against the frame. It took a while for me to unstick the speed loader and I never got it to work. Then I tried on my Mdl 36-1. That has thinner OEM Magna grips. It worked after a fashion, but it took me about ten seconds to get the speed loader into position, drop the cartridges into the cylinders, and then release them from the holder. Even then, the walls of the speed loader rubbed up against the frame and there was a likelihood that it would damage the bluing. So, I'll return them and use either the HKS speed loaders or one from "Quickloader."Close, but no cigar.

Dose Not Fit All S&W J Frame and Not For Duty
This does not fit my wife's hammerless S&W J frame 38. I wish I had the model number. The cylinder release button stops the loader and rounds from seating properly, there for the release will not trigger and the rounds will not release. The product seems good for the person who feels better with backup ammo, it would work. for me, I would not use it as a duty pistol loader. I gave it a 5, you get what you pay for.
