excellent read
Very good book. I love the split of the chapters and the summary of each one it makes it easy to take notes.

Tips & Tricks for a more organised life!
For me the book was clearly written, an easy and relaxing daily read. Very well researched, each technique for sidelining apathy was referenced to original psychological research; in some instances I looked up the studies for more detail. Having completed the quick read through, it is a manual to which I will return again to guide me to more order and organisation.

Rather like an academic paper
This is a thoughtfully written book with some good ideas and tips in. However, the style of it is rather "dry". It's a bit like reading an academic essay and, therefore, unfortunately it's not wildly inspiring.

Short and PRACTICAL
As someone who has recently read a few of these books that help to self-organise I'm used to them not providing a magic bullet but confirming certain guesses that you already have or not - nothing more. This one is a bit different. It's comparably very short - so you won't waste too much time reading and can move on to actually doing things - and has a few things that can actually be implemented in one's life rather quickly. Of course, "when the student is ready, the teacher appears", and how I feel about it is at least in part thanks to others that came before, but this one was really very helpful. Thank you, Peter Hollins, you have done something pretty awesome to the guy writing this.

short, punchy and jam packed full of tools and the science behind them
This is really a definitive guide as to why you can't just 'get on with it' and what to do about it.By the time I finished it i'd written 10 pages of new habits and techniques to adopt and how to make sure they were permanently adoptable! and...it feels like fun planning the work and building in the tools and tips to make sure i stay in the habit. These are manageable, realistic and inventive ways to get my work done, given my own personal quirks.I am now going to read more from this guy and see what else he has to offer.

Best couple of quid I've spent in ages!
I had low expectations of this book but I'm pleased to say I found it really, REALLY useful. Clear, practical, well-written, memorable and even enjoyable! This time - unlike with so many books - I'm actually implementing it! It's playing my song. It speaks my language. It works! Best couple of quid I've spent in ages. I'm still aiming high but if I use this book I can guarantee my chances of failure will be a whole lot less... Thanks, Peter!
