So for years and especially with my first child I would use your normal aspirators the one with the mouthpiece and you have to get the nozzle inside their nose, after being tired of trying to find filters for it I thought I'd give this a try with my youngest daughter who's only one now she is a fighter! does not make it easy at all no matter what it is she hates anything in or around her nose. but man this thing was fantastic! got the snot out super quick super easy and I didn't have to go all up in her nose to do it. I was skept a cliff first but it is truly truly a great product and gets the job done I still have to fight her to do it, I mostly wrap her in a towel and my wife will hold her down ( she may be one yrs old but she's 38" tall and 43 pounds) so I can get to it but that's just what we have to do for anything lol but it works like a charm

I am very happy with this product, its ease of use, easy to clean, works well...got some gnarly boogies out of my 3 week old's nose with powerful suction. I have the electronic aspirator with lights and sounds and this compares to the power, without all the overstimulating sensory components. I love that it is hand operated instead of mouth operated. Also that it is manual is a plus. Works well and don't need to worry about batteries. It's a bit clunky the pump but it's worth a clear airway.

Very effective with good suction and easy to use. Just lay your baby on the arm that's holding the pump, and use the free hand to position the nozzle on the baby's nose. Sucks up snot very well. If the snot is too dry, we use some saline nasal drops to loosen the dried snot. Was very useful when our baby was having stuffy nose. I tried it on myself first and felt that the suction pressure felt safe enough, so I could use it on the baby with peace of mind. Once the baby got used to it after a few times, he didn't fuss when I suck his nose. Much better and sanitary than pumps that make you suck with your mouth, also feels safer than thin ones where you stick it into the baby's nose. If you clean the nozzle right away with some soapy water, it cleans pretty easily. But cleaning the nozzle once in a while using a straw cleaner brush will keep it clean. It seems to use hospital grade material for the nozzle and tube. They clean easily and feel very high quality. Highly recommend.

This device gives you the power of the manual suction options using your mouth but without the ick. It works really well for a toddler. The rounded nose tip would be too big and the suction too strong for a newborn nose though, in my opinion.It's easy to take apart and only 2 pieces to clean. I do wish it had come with a tool for cleaning the narrow part but a straw cleaner will work.

The media could not be loaded. I 100% believe this little thing kept my almost 2 month old out of the hospital. The power that the pump produces is enough to get thick snot , thin snot , & even the hard boogers. It’s tricky to aim into such a small nose since it doesn’t go in the nose. I gently pull the skin laterally to open up the airway , especially since one side looks like it has a slightly deviated septum. RSV with an 8 week old was horribly terrifying but honestly I think just being able to keep his airways totally clear with this thing is what kept him okay. I have the bulb + an electric nose sucker and they did nothing compared to this. I will say, use saline or breast milk (only a tiny tiny bit & one at a time) before using the sucker to make sure it is a little looser … that seems to help. Super easy to clean & let air dry … but I’ve noticed it helps him sleep and eat SO much. So so grateful for this thing - it will be a forever staple for littles.

I bought this for a child who does not like to blow their nose due to the mess and some sensory issues. It is really helpful because it keeps everything contained, is not loud and doesn't involve the child using 500 tissues.

A friend recommended this pump and it's been great! Way better than the frida brand one and our baby laughs everytime we use it on her. It could be just her being playful but it's a bonus for us.
