A Court of Thorns and Roses Paperback Box Set (5 books) Paperback – November 18, 2022

I could not stop reading all 5 books. I wanted more and more, even sacrificing sleep to satisfy the craving! This is a must buy. I’m so glad I did.

I love this series, I completely understand the hype. If you like fantasy romance, this is a book worth reading after trying a couple of other series because it will ruin you - a book hangover is highly likely.It's thrilling, sexy, and explores some really real feelings and ideas too. I highly recommend it!P.S. There will likely be another book that you would need to buy after this box set when in comes out in 2024. If you want everything matchy-matchy I'd wait for an updated box set.

I honestly thought the books were not too bad initially, the second book being the best due to the storyline being a bit more intricate but honestly got disappointed towards the end with how lazy the plot was, couldn't even finish the last 2 books. The writing could definitely be better, the storylines could be better, a lot of things don't make much sense. It's just a glorified romance smutt book which is not my style. I was hoping to have a strong fantasy storyline book, detailed characters with depth and while I dont mind romance in a book it shouldn't interfere with the storyline. Biggest disappointment was all this build up to the war, the strongest armies and warriors, all this training and forewarning to what was to come, previous wars took decades and then it happens and none of the main characters die they all miraculously survive or come back to life which doesn't make any sense, it is just glazed over sloppily and is over in a matter of months and just a chapter or 2 I believe. So much more could have been done with it, it had potential but it was not ceised. Overall not my cup of tea, since it was so highly rated I thought it would have been much more than what it was.
