Instant improvements!
My Netgear router came with simple antennas and I was getting a lot of drops and bad connections upstairs. After I replaced 2 of the antennas with this, I was getting more stable speedtest results and had much less dropouts so I count that as a success.

Made A Noticeable Difference After A Little Modification
Bought these for a Liksys WRT160NL that was having trouble reaching the entire house. I tried 4 outer routers with no difference. I decided to experiment with these before buying one of the "hi-power" wireless routers..After having to slightly modify these antenna they definitely increased the range and accomplished my goal of getting a signal through the house.The modification involved grinding the outside of the "screw-on" part of the antenna slightly which allowed it to fully contact the mounting area. The old antenna's screw-on area has a smaller outside diameter and they are slightly under the level of the plastic case of the router housing when fully tightened. the new ones wouldn't seat fully until modified..I think this is why a few people commented that their reception was worse they probably didn't have them fully tightened?After all that, my reception increased at least 20% and investing the 20 bucks on these saved me the 150 bucks for a hi-powered router!

These longer antennae improved the reception in my household about 10%. While it's not much, it was enough of a boost to take care of my problem. Be aware of the shipping costs for this inexpensive item; they cost almost as much as the antennae and for no reason,since they are basically sticks shipped by USPS in a large envelope. Finally, make sure you have the correct model before ordering. There are different types of jacks on the different router models and you need the ones that fit your router.

didn't really make any noticeable difference
Wasn't expecting drastic improvements with these, just hoping to make poor signal areas of the house usable. Unfortunately saw little to no change with these installed and since my router has 3 antennas I had to buy 2 packs of these, so money not well spent. Their only use now is for drum sticks.

good product
I had tested a few antennas. This one is cheap and worked very well for me. I went from a 30% signal to over 80% on my repeater. It made all the difference in terms of speed and coverage. Very happy with it.

Super great
Used 4 of these for a bridge and router a little less than 200 feet apart from one home to the next. The link is at 108mbps very nice indeed.

Work Great
Good antenna if you want to swap out a factory antenna. I can't vouch for a significant improvement, but it does work like I expected. At this price I am very pleased.
