Yard-Long Bean, Chinese Red Noodle Pole Bean/100 Seeds/Heirloom, Non GMO!

Genetic mutant: Zero Stars.This one and the other I bought, Winged Bean, were absolutely not the plant as described. This Red Noodle Long Bean went in looking like the bean it should, after growing a long time and about 4-5 feet high, leaves were a bean leaf, finally, a plant that took forever but the result was a FUZZY pod containing 2 what appeared to be flat soy beans. Wow, really? Yes, really. Shipped from Hong Kong it must have been a genetic experiment and the joke was on me. I'm not laughing. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED is an understatement. Never Again. Winged Bean came out looking like Dragons Tongue Bean but went in round beans like it should. Sounds impossible but true. Did not plant anything else. They were on a patio in pots. An entire growing season wasted. Will keep my money in the USA from now on with reputable sellers. I tried adding a picture to the winged bean review and the entire thing disappeared so who knows if that review will even show up. Had another to add, closer up, did not take a photo of this mutant. Time waster in Hong King, laughing all the way to the bank. I've been too angry until now, January 2019, to write this review from the Summer - Fall of 2018.

These are my favorite beans by far.. very productive and sweet flavor.

Its not red like in the picture, very pale green instead even I waited for it hoping the color would turn red.

If you have a small space and want a lot of beans for your money this is the one. My next door neighbor lady is Filipino and she grows these bean. They are delicious. Sometimes called an asparagus bean. They grow fast and lots of beans on each vine.There is an excellent video on YouTube about growing this bean, its simple.

It's a normal string bean with some red streaking.Definitely not a yard long bean and not even a red or purple bean at that. I planted the seeds and just get normal short green bean!! Not the long red been!!! Not an honest seller!!

After several weeks of waiting I finally got a small package of bean seeds, no picture or planting instructions. So hopefully they are the beans I ordered.

Terrible. We tried to save money and buy several seed type from this seller. The Chinese lettuce never germinated. This `red long bean` actually looks exactly like a typical mung bean seed. Definitely not what we ordered. I would never order from this seller, or from an overseas seller again.

During the season I only harvested 4 beans. None of them grew to foot long
