Best shaving cream
I have been straight shaving for years and this by far is the best shaving cream I have ever used. One of these jars will last me a full year, it lathers very well and the scent is amazing.

Best I've Tried So Far
This is excellent shave cream.I also have Taylor rose cream,D.R. Harris Arlington hard shave soap,Tabac hard soap. This I find better than all the above.D.R. Harris would be second.Will be buying morewhen i need to.Wanna try the Trumper hard shave soap next.These soaps will last forever. Especially when u have several choices. Then u never seem to get anywhere near using up any of 'em. Happy shaving!

not so good
For whatever reason (you can blame it on technique, although this is the only cream I experience this with) I have a hard time finding a good balance to the lather. Either too much water making it soupy or not enough making it too creamy. And I would have to agree with another review that this product does not have a very pleasant smell. Not quite dirty ashtray to me (although I get the comparison) but definitely not even close to anything sandalwood I ever smelled.In summary: my morning shaving ritual (that I relish now and look forward to since I've joined the world of wet shaving) is greatly diminished by the use of this product. Would not recommend it at all

I shave with nothing else
The sandalwood is my favorite so far. Trumper products are the best you can find. It makes shaving an enjoyable experience. I suggest using a double edge safety razor as well. You will never get another bump on your neck.

Trumper's is a superior product, well worth the cost. I was introduced to high-end soaps by my wife who sells her memoir on Amazon, A Journey Not Chosen[...]

Smells like a cigarette ashtray.I have other Sandalwood items from Geo F Trumper and they all are OKAY.Plus I just now rechecked my order, and OMG, it was also very expensive.

Il ya des années je l'utilise Trumper sandlewood crème. J'adore. Une bonne coussin, ça glisse bien, mousse bien - pas trop dur ni trop liquide. C'est une véritable plaisir de raser avec cette produit.
