This is a LIFE CHANGING book!
I felt so connected to Mel and all her reviews, testimonies and tweets she shared it this book. I felt I am not alone in this world who struggle on things. Not only I found my courage to pursue my life and dreams again but I also found a golden rule which almost fixes everything. For any problems I life, now I just go 5โฆ4โฆ3โฆ2โฆ1โฆGO!!! a simple read with a life changing hack
Just loved the simplicity of this rule, and it already has helped me take action on a lot of things in a timely manner which I normally would not have done

A VERY RELATABLE BOOK
Mel Robbins tells us that our brain has a mere 5 second window to make a decision. Counting backwards from 5 and hitting the GO button before or immediately after the count of 1 in our minds can help us achieve whatever we want to. Stop procrastinating or dilly-dallying because once the moment is lost, the opportunity rarely comes back. Its ACTION that matters, not the THINKING.These are home truths we usually tend to deny ourselves in our daily lives. Small victories everyday lead to big ones in our attitude and behaviour. Mel strongly feels the #54321 rule can help us achieve this if pursued religiously.Written in simple, lucid style. I recommend this book as well as its preaching.

Simple and do-able way to find courage
Loved the book. The concept is so simple and do-able it blew my mind away. It's a true perceptive view of how an average person behaves: kudos to Mel Robbins ... for her great book. Heard her TED Talk that started this: she has a great presence ... and a powerful tool to offer us.On page 47, Mel Ribbons writes: "Knowing what you need to do to improve your life takes wisdom. Pushing yourself to do it take courage. #5SecondRule". The 5-second rule is the answer to "Pushing yourself to do it take courage". Yes, that's very true.A tool to help the reader with the first part: "Knowing what you need to do to improve your life takes wisdom" can be found thru answering the Quiz on beyondwealthsite.wordpress.com which deals with 7 Areas which you need to Balance. Sorry Disappointed
Expected that this book contains some technique to follow or implement the 5 second rule.Waited till the last chapter of the book. But it's not explained clearly. This book is full of examples of people who benefited by implementing the 5 second rule.
