Gustaf's Dutch Licorice, Sugared Licorice Bears, 5.2 Ounce (Pack of 12)

These were delivered in 110+ degrees in the Phoenix area and the seller added three ice packs. The ice packs did not survive, but I thought it was great that the seller did that. AND..... the candy was in perfect condition! This is cheaper than buying at the store and my little Dutch mother will have her favorite Dutch licorice for months to come! If you're a black licorice lover, these little licorice bears are addicting!

The long product description towards the bottom says anise flavor. That is a false statement. They are just licorice flavored and tough to chew. I will not be buying these again. Disappointed I can't find the anise bears I use to buy from Amazon.

Perfect combination of black licorice, sprinkled with sugar and softness. I've tried the entire variety of Gustaf's black licorice options. Bears is my favorite! Beware! You can't eat just 1, or 2, or 3.

My poor mom who is battling a rare Skin Cancer has very little to get excited about. My mom has always liked Black Licorice and this product is flavorless and extremely disappointing. All of her children are trying to get things we know she likes and this is one of those items even though this is the first time buying this brand. I bought two bags and now either one of them will be eaten. My mom is 84 years old all we are trying to do is find the little comforts she likes and get them for her.

did not like the taste others purchased in past had much better taste and did not taste salty.
