Didn't know that it was made of hard plastic
Didn't know that it was made of hard plastic, but great at grinding up garlic, fresh herbs & ginger, so pretty cool.

Cheap and cheerful :)
The main reason I bought this cheap and cheerful pestle & mortar was to crush my dogs pills - and it does what it says on the tin.I must admit, however, I thought it was wood when I ordered it - had I read the description properly, I would have known I was getting a plastic version (resin); which is still fine by me - I just wanted to avoid the scraping of ceramic, which sets my teeth off just thinking about the noise :D

A Perfect Size for Pesto etc
It is a bit lighter in weight than I expected but overall it is very good. I have only used it once so far to make pesto and it was perfect, size just right for basil etc. Very easy to clean so overall would recommend.

Not actual granite
It is not actually granite or any stone, it feels like a plastic polymer so it's misleading to say it's granite.
