I'm a homemade salad dressing enthusiast. Glad to have this much larger shaker. This is my second glass dressing shaker. My first one, a 10-ounce shaker, is still going strong but is no longer manufactured.Yesterday I received my new Whiskware shaker, and I immediately washed it and prepared a fresh balsamic vinaigrette. I funneled and poured in all the ingredients, tossed in the BlenderBall, screwed on the lid and shook. The BlenderBall seemed to help the Dijon mustard quickly get incorporated. It definitely took less shaking time to blend all ingredients and emulsify the oil, an improvement over my other shaker. The measurement markings on Whiskware’s shaker are excellent. There is no need to use separate measuring cups; just pour directly into the shaker.Although the BlenderBall did a fine job of mixing in the mustard, I removed it after the initial shake. Yes, the ball is made of "medical-grade" stainless steel, but I saw no need to leave it soaking in my salad dressing. It’s an excellent shaker with or without the ball. Only a few shakes without the ball re-emulsifies the oil.A strong index finger is required to operate the pouring spout. And there will be a bit of dribbling down the side of the cap after pouring. If you release the cap to close while the bottle is still pointed downward, the dribbling will be minimal. Thanks to Whiskware for those recipes and for creating an excellent glass salad dressing shaker.

We use it for home made ranch. Works perfectly! Measuring marks on the side means less dirty dishes, the wire ball mixes it perfectly, and the pour spout is adjustable to allow a thick dressing like Ranch to pour out with ease. But can also be opened just a bit for a splash of vinegrette if thats more to your taste. I really love that its glass with minimal plastic.

I chose this particular shaker bottle because it is glass. All the plastic container ones seem to stain or hold the stain/color of certain ingredients you put in for salad dressings. Plus, it's easier to clean oil out of glass than it is to clean it out of plastic (unless you place in dishwasher). This is super easy to clean, plus it is larger than standard dressing bottles, so you can mix a slightly larger batch. I regularly make a dijon vinaigrette dressing, and the mustard does NOT stain any part of this item. Love the mixing ball whisk, it works great, and super easy to clean that as well since it's metal. Would purchase this again if I wanted a 2nd one.

I did have issue with supplier sending me 1 without whisk ball, so i exchanged for new one. That one came with out a whisk ball too. I was a tad irritated but just returned it for refund and bought another one. #rd time is the charm. And it works fantastic. So glad I got it. it is exactly what I was wanting.

Love that it is glass, fairly easy to clean (make sure you understand how the top pieces fit together in the event they come apart), holds a good amount (2.5 cups), has a wire mesh mixer (which I don't use but it's nice to have) and it's a good value for what you're getting. Highly recommend -- I've purchased three now!I wish they did sell replacement parts as I need new washer gaskets for the tops and would hate to have to buy a whole new product just because of an unusually-sized washer that is more challenging to find.

Love that the mixer ball is included. The lid is very secure, no drips when pouring, and it is dripless when shaking the bottle. The engraving on the side of the bottle for liquid measurements is durable and does not fade in the dishwasher. l place all of the parts right in the dishwasher and everything comes out clean - including the lid - with no residual oil from the dressing. I will be buying more of these bottles for different flavors of homemade salad dressing.

I’ve been needing a salad dressing bottle for a while now. Happy with this one. The whisk is a nice touch to be able to combine the dressing before each use.

I got this for homemade salad dressing because the lid of the one that comes with the salad dressing mix broke. I went through several different bottles before choosing this one. The quality is excellent, and the size, while probably a bit bigger than I'd like, is still very manageable. I've taken a picture of it next to a mayo jar and a standard olive oil container so you can see the scale of it. I'm going to order a second one to put vinegar in. Note the metal spout. I think that and the glass bottom makes this a very high-quality product.
