I couldnt believe how easy this was to use and for how long it stayed cool for. We were on a sarfari and my insulin was cool the entire time. I always had water to reactive the crystals but did not always have access to a freezer to use traditional coolers. I highly reccomend this.

This cooler will NOT keep your medication refrigerator cold. It is not designed for it. It is designed to keep medication at safe room temperature, so you can leave it out in the car, or bring it to the beach, etc. It is very handy for this specific purpose. We put our daughter's insulin vial in the frio cooler during warm months and then we don't have to worry about her bag being left out in the heat and her insulin going bad. This size is just right for a vial or two and a couple of syringes. It's been our experience that we don't have to re-immerse it in water as often as recommended, it lasts quite a while especially when not exposed to extreme heat on regular basis.

I used it to carry pills that need to be kept cold and it worked perfectly. I got it wet the night before I left and it stayed cold for 4-5 days before it went back to crystals. I carried it in my purse, and it didn't leak water on anything. I was concerned about getting through the TSA checkpoint, but they didn't even question it. It was a flight within USA, I hope it's that easy internationally.

I need something for my Thyroid medications that need to be refrigerated when we went on a cruise. This worked great!! It stayed cool all week and I am very pleased with it.

love this product, actually bought another one...works PERFECT for insulin dependent people who travel, small to fit on purse, does not leak or drip and stays cold for DAYS, easy to rechange, and FREE just uses cold water

This Frio cooling pack did not keep the insulin pens cold. I followed the instruction carefully. After 12 hours, I checked the temperature and found out that it was way too warm to keep insulin pens at the desired temperature of 36-46 degrees. I had to discard three pens at a huge loss and call for a new prescription. I was not in a situation where I could get ice nor could I use a freezer for cold packs.I will definitely do more research to find the safest way to travel with insulin pens.

These work great . We’ve used them for insulin- traveling by plane and car . TSA was no problem and they stayed cool outside in heat . Definitely recommend
