It is very thick and warm...the yarn is soft not scratchy...and the knitting is well done...fits nice on an average sized womens head...and fits loosely on my childs head but she says its still comfortable....its fun and silly and we love it.

This is an awesome beanie, it fits perfectly and feels great. Some people complained of the smell but I did not notice that and I have a very sensitive nose. I ordered one in wine read also. I am returning the red one because it is too red.

I would say this is more of a novelty item. I really wanted this because I loved beanies but it doesn't fit snugly to my head. It is a really cool design and people ask me about it. It works, but because it's not snug it falls off very easily.
