I like the container it’s pretty and once I use it, I can save the container and repurpose it. It smells kind of like I would say a fabric detergent that I used to use when it burns. It smells a little bit more musky, but after the smoke goes away, you can smell the fragrance Left behind. It does burn a lot faster than the actual charcoal piece so you have to keep replacing it and it does burn fast. Bought the three pack and after going through the first one I would say burn the charcoal and let the charcoal burn outside for a while as the charcoal has a scent of its own, which I personally don’t like I wanna get the burner that doesn’t require a charcoal and see how that works but I do like all of this smells they do smell pretty similar, except for the one with yLang Lang that one is definitely very floral. I think that’s my favorite. It will definitely last a lot more uses than a candle, and it does leave a sent behind for a lot longer than a candle.

Smells so good no doubt but the problem is it’s not long lasting enough when turned off smells banish.. quality is best my husband loved it so much and he used it 24/7 😑

I don't leave many reviews, but this is one of the best scents that I have ever come across in any form, potent, rich and sophisticated. This is my first time burning Backhoor. I have been missing it.

I was very dissatisfied with this product. I purchased after reading positive reviews. However, the jar of wood chips I received was half filled and had very little fragrance when I opened the jar. I tried a few pieces on a charcoal disk but it only smoked and left no fragrance. I am returning it and will just use incense sticks which are much cheaper.

The ingredients for this list wood chips, natural incense powder, essential oils. It lists scent components as rose, basil, citron, geranium, cinnamon, clove, sandalwood, agarwood. It does not specify that the chips are agarwood. The scent is very sweet, floral as its first hits. The glass jar is lovely - I only purchase scents and oils in glass - the box is quite giftable. Will buy again.

I’ve been buying this for awhile now and my recent purchase was less than satisfactory. The wood was VERY sticky & the fragrance dissipated very quickly unlike in the past. There are also considerably larger pieces of wood in the jar. I am so disappointed because I’ve supported this brand (I also buy the solid square version for years ) and the quality of the products have changed. I would recommend this product but thought I would point this out at the onset of the experience.I’ve used half of the jar since my last purchase ( which was within the return window but thought it unethical to return it) which is a clear sign that I’m having to replace more often the wood under the tea light which normally, I’d replace maybe three times per week. I also steam the wood/square pieces in shallow water after using them and add to the mulch in my floral garden. Please, don’t diminish the quality of your product as I’m quite fond of it & a customer for years.Great packaging, lovely jar container
