Works well with our Velux roof lights.
Arrived in good time. We have had a pole yet required a second for another room. This pole is longer than our Velux original pole and is easier to use. Good quality. Our Velux are pulled bar type.Good price including postage.

Not strong enough
When the pole is extended, it becomes extremely weak and bends when opening the velux window. It isn't strong enough to push the window full closed, only closed with the vent remaining open as again, the pole bends when any pressure is applied.

Slightly flimsy but does the job!
You can tell it is not the real brand and is cheap. Nonetheless it does the job (now I've got used to how to use it!)

Be careful with wood windows.
It does the job, Just. It's a little clunky and the opening is a loose fit for the velux bar. This means instead of leveraging the bar its self you have to pull and twist on the pole. Despite the extender being locked it often just pulls through extending further. Assuming the 2m pole is vertical you'd need to tilt the bar 45° to get the action on the velux bar this requires space in the room. Almost knocked a TV off the stand numerous times.I didn't need the blind pull bit as my velux obviously doesn't have blinds. I found that that bit digs into the wood surround so I cut it off before this thing does anymore damage. This might be worth taking into account if you have wood framed velux windows.
