Works well. Small and powerful
Used on our chicken coop door to secure it over night and release it come sunrise. Very easy to fit, well built and works a treat.Powered it with a 12v 1A power supply.

Great mag lock
This mag lock works off 12 V and uses about 0.3Amp, so works well with many standard 12v PSUs. I used this for an escape room game, to open a cabinet when a series of actions were complete. The device works well with an Arduino driving a small relay. My main requirements were simplicity of re-locking the cabinet door and reliability of opening when the correct actions were sensed. This is a great output device for such puzzles. One word of warning: Dont use mag-locks on escape room entry/ exit doors without a well marked means of powering them down in an emergency such as a fire or noxious gas release. Stick with Cabinet doors and it will be fine.
