Good intro to impact investing, overview of the space, the players involved and the landscape. When finishing the book I found myself craving more information and data on how to evaluate investments/funds for both financial and impact performance as well as data on the overall financial/impact performance of the impact investment industry.

The book is easy to read with minimal jargon and insights from compelling conversations with investors, intermediaries, and philanthropists alike. It also retains the research rigour in concisely surveying the impact investing landscape and its players globally.For practitioners in the field, this book provides a broad update on current developments, and a generally optimistic view of impact investing's potential for putting markets to work for global good.

It was a good book on the impact of impact investing, and had a good overview of what's happening in the field, but it doesn't really provide a smooth way to begin/grow your individual impact & return

Dr Rodin and Ms. Brandenburg are clearly knowledgable and passionate about their topic and firmly convinced of the potential for positive impact this asset class offers.

This book is a great primer for those who are new to impact investing, and contains important examples and insights for those who are already active in the space. I recommend it in particular as a gift for someone who has expressed an interest in learning more about the topic.
