A sturdy UL listed 14 AWG power cable
If you've ever priced heavy-duty power cable, you've without a doubt quickly realized something: its not cheap! In fact, depending on the length, it can get easily get into the $50-100+ range. However, power cable is not something you want to skimp on if you're dealing with anything that demands a lot of power; such as heavy power tools (a 10" tile saw, or a 7" grinder for example), or a bench power supply, such as the one I needed this cable for. This cable will provide quite a bit of clean power at an excellent value. It's also hospital grade!! (I don't know for sure what this means, but I imagine its indicative of a higher standard in manufacturing) This one works exceptionally well for me bc I only need a short length of cord too. It is well constructed, and also extremely flexible, which is in my experience often the sign of an above average power cord.Part of the reason why cables and power cords are not cheap is because good ones are made of pure copper, and copper is expensive. Its important to have an idea of what exactly you wish to power with your power cord, along with the electrical demands (current draw specifically, in amperes) that your load will require to function safely and properly.Since this is 14AWG, it should have no trouble keeping anything drawing 15 amps or less running just fine, as long as it is not too far away.***PLEASE NOTE: the length of the cable is no less important than the diameter when sizing a power cord. A 14AWG cord CAN deliver 15 amps over a distance of 50 feet or less, but it CANNOT maintain that power at 100' of cable run. For something capable of that you'd need 12 AWG, or larger cable.>OPTIONAL EXTRA (AND RELEVANT) INFO FOR MY EXTRA NERDY PEOPLE<:All of those letters and numbers you see stamped on the side of this cable, and others, they all tell you something about that cord.300V : this is the voltage the cable is rated to handle14AWG : this is the size (and in some cases composition) of the wire. AWG stands for American Wire Gauge2.08MM^2 : also the size, in metric formatUL : this means that this cable has been certified to meet or exceed basic safety standards put forth by Underwriters Laboratory, a global safety science companySJT: this stands for Service Junior Thermoplastic. It tells us about the general capabilities of the cord.(Type SJT is ideal for use with heavy tools, equipment, portable lights, and power extensions. Type SVT is ideal in small tools and appliances such as vacuum cleaners, food processors, and office equipment. If there is a "W" on the end of SJT, it means its weather rated, so it can withstand being used outdoors)

great price and quality
check the volt rating and amp, if they match to your broken one, it will work and works great

Excellent Power Cord
Excellent Hospital grade power cord at the same price as you would pay for a standard one

Important need for my medical equipment. High strength cord with the Green Dot!
This cord is very high strength! Should last me a long time. It has the Green Dot on it to certify that it is "Hospital Strength"

Charged motorcycle for 4 years
The media could not be loaded. The cable still works, although it appears to be near failure.I used it to charge a 2016 Zero SR for around 4 years. A charge is 1000W and typically around 8 hours, which I did less than one per week on average. The cord stayed outside but dry and shielded from the sun.

Improved sound
Used them on my Power Amps and it made a nice difference in soundstage and "bass punch". Did not sound nicer on my CD player (a bit muffled).

Hard to believe, but....
I originally bought this thinking my RB985 Rotel amp could be upgraded. Well, when I finally looked it had a captive power cord. But, my processor/preamp could take it.So I installed it.WHAT is THIS!!!! I couldn't believe the DEPTH and width of well-recorded CD's and LPs. Suddenly I heard small percussion instruments, could discern multiple voices on Moody Blues albums, and could distinguish real instruments in real space. If there is a better tweak for 10X's the price, I'd be willing to pay it but this is the top scorer in dollars-to-impact investments Try one!
