Great grain size for my quail.
Small circular grains, seem pretty uniform throughout the bag. Was easy for my quail to use and they started eating it immediately. I offer this as a free choice item on the side to make sure my girls have enough calcium for their eggs. I also recycle egg shells for the same purpose but wanted something premade and easy to grab as needed.

Chickens won't eat
I think it is to fine almost powder. On it's own the girls won't touch it. I mix it on with other food but they are careful to try and avoid it.

Will get in your chickens lungs
Did not realize it was non returnable. And Amazon's stupid AI says there are no bad reviews when one very plainly states it killed half their chickens! The picture of it showed crushed up calcium shells and what I got is a very fine powder. Chickens are more likely to aspirate than humans. Very unhappy.

Good product for strengthening egg shells
Normally I crush up all my old eggshells and feed then back to my chickens but I needed something more. They don't really consume or like Oyster shell and I'm not sure how much is absorbed but this stuff is great
