Amazing!!!!!
This book is a must read for anyone with chronic illness, cancer, learning disablities, anxiety/depression, a neurological disorder, a friend or family member on the autism spectrum, or a friend or family member with Alzheimer's. Dr. Amy Yasko is able to break down the complexities of her genetic research in a way that is understandable for the masses. She is broaching what may be the next wave in the way we, as an educated society, prevent and treat illness. Nutrigenomics is the science of replacing the missing outputs of under functioning gene SNPs to assist in the prevention and treatment of diseases that currently have no cure recognized by the CDC. I truly believe that her research is ground-breaking and am going to be following her protocol to try to ameliorate my failing health. I have been diagnosed homozygous MTHFR, so her methylation pathway research relates very much to me. I will update my review periodically with my progress.

Wow! Best book on Methylation/Nutrigenomics Intro!
WOW!! Just finished reading this book for the second time, to get the message sink in, "Wow" is the only word I could describe after this wonderful explanation on Methylation written by Dr. Yasko. Its amazing to know there are good people still there, who are willing to share all they got for the goodness of the community, without expecting any return. Hats off to you Dr. Yasko. As she concludes, this is a basic book for those who would like to understand Nutrigenomics/Methylation and its worth every cent.Someone had harsh criticism about spelling mistakes in the book, its true, but looks like they don't understand the big picture and the message Dr. Yasko is providing. Despite all the flaws, its an EXCELLENT BOOK !! Thank you Dr. Yasko.

Great Book
This book clears up questions about the methylation process and how it interacts with other genes all of which might have mutations. It is written as a picture story where you can "see" the whole of the process mentally. Its clear to me now that the methylation cycle is the foundation to all health and without addressing it first, there's no use in hoping for other conditions to heal such as arthritis, nerve pain, cancer, heart disease, autism, personality disorders, migraines and many others.

Easy to read & understand
I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in nutrition and how it works with our genetics. I had some medicine and admiration for this woman and knowledge did chemical work and her ability to teach.Buy this book!

Great book ok methylation as well as genetic test!
The best book on nutrigenomics written in an easy to understand format. Everyone should know what their body needs in relation to methylation. The test revealed a CBS mutation for me among a few others. CBS mutations can cause issues with sulfur and I was having some ankle swelling. Upon learning my results I reduced sulfur and saw the ankle swelling also reduce! I also tested with sulfate strips also available on amazon and saw a reduction of sulfate levels from off the charts high to normal! It's better to do a private test like the one on Amy Yasco's website because your information is kept private!

So many aha moments and lights turned on
The reviews on Amazon almost deterred me from reading this and I am so glad I chose to decide for myself. The information and knowledge she shares is so critically important in health and has shed light on my personal health journey. Key factors I have been missing make so much sense and I am beyond excited to take what I have learned and move forward. Please receive the information and decide for yourself, truly hear what she says and make your own informed decision. Don't let opinions deter you from reading this book. Thank you Dr. Yasko for sharing your knowledge, I needed this.

Amazing
Finished the book in less than 48 hours. WOW! Very thankful for the information and time put into spreading it. I’m also thankful for my own personal background in dietetics so I can understand this.

Waste of money.
Just eh. Was really excited when I read the stellar reviews and so many people recommended the book. It was a pretty big disappointment. The information was very, very basic. The included graphs were useless without being color coded (everything was in black and white, yet you were supposed to be able to see methylation pathways, etc by following the color coded paths....impossible with a black and white picture). She gives a very elementary explanation of methylation....over and over and over and over again. It's pretty much the same info repeated throughout the book with NO guide as to what to actually DO about it. No supplement overview, no real medical/disease info, nothing. Waste of money. I've learned WAY more on facebook froums than from this book.
