The “W” shaped design of the support the transmission rests on is very unstable due to its shape and the fact that transmissions are flat at the pan. The wing nuts that allow the lift to tilt a bit don’t hold the base in it’s position and lets the transmission shift which makes it difficult to install transmissions. If you think this design of lift might work for you there’s an exact version at Harbor freight for more than half the price with a much better designed till feature!
