10 Stars/ Perfect
I almost didn’t buy this set because of the reviews stating how heavy this is. My back is fused and i have arthritis really bad in my hands. I was suppose to have had knee replacement surgery two years ago and I’ve put it off. So I was skeptical of purchasing this that it would be a waste of my money because of my physical limitations not counting I’m a senior citizen and I have to do this every day I have big dogs. The final straw was when my old wooden set cut me recently. I won’t have to worry about that anymore with this set. So I’ve been using it a week and I cannot understand where anyone is complaining about how heavy this is. My backyard is good size and I do not have a problem with it being heavy. I’m glad it’s sturdy.Where someone else mentioned that the telescoping handles don’t stay up I’m wondering if they locked it. So you put it in the position you want it and then turn it the opposite direction and lock it you can unlock it and re-position the handle at least I could. I am extremely happy with my purchase!By the way I bought the largest they offer.

BEST POOPER SCOOPER EVER!
Precision Pet by Petmate Little Stinker Heavy Duty Pooper Scoop with Spade -Extendable Handle - 2 Sizes Available is the best pooper scooper I have ever had in 45yrs! I have worked with dogs throughout the years and I have to say this is the best scooper I have ever owned! Seriously! Spring thaws in Ohio are not the easiest to face being a dog owner. With 2 huskies and a mid size rescue dog I knew I would have to get a new pooper scooper. I took my chances and have to say this time I got it right! I love the adjustable handles and the size of the pan. I didn't have to empty the pan into the bucket after each pile, but it was roomy and sturdy enough to hold several piles in one take. It made a very large cleanup the easiest ever. I am glad I chose this one, and plan to recommend it to others! Thank you!

Good quality scoop
I had a plastic scooper before that recently broke, obviously I replaced it with this scooper. This scooper is a lot easier to scoop with compared to my previous plastic one. It did arrive broken, however. With some heavy duty glue, though, I repaired it. It works just fine and hasn't given me any issues. Good value product for the money.

Well worth it!
I was skeptical about spending this much on what it is used for. I only paid 9.99 for the last one. And here is why. I am going to attach photos f the old one- VS the new one. The old one is (broke and is being held together by tape)The new one It is sturdy as it gets. It stands on its own. It also has a non-stick type of coating on the scoop and shovel part (sorry I am not familiar with the technical names lol) I was also disappointed that there was no attachment to hold them together. (I took a pic of what I am talking about) But oddly enough the new one does not need one. Its sturdy enough not to tip over and it doesn't "topple" when you stack them. I love it. I mean I hate to clean the presents my baby "Cricket" leaves for me daily but this certainly makes it a lot easier.

Overpriced junk
09/16/15 - Update. I'm pretty disgusted with this thing and have lowered my original rating accordingly. I expected this higher priced scooper to last longer. But I had problems keeping the adjustable handles tightened from the very beginning, the tray was so heavy that there was no way I could hold it up while scooping and it always had to be placed on the ground. The tray is MUCH to heavy for the flimsy handle and rivet attachments, and as I predicted the handle ripped apart from the tray when the bracket that holds it to the tray ripped away from the pan. There is nothing more fun than trying to fix a dirty pooper scooper rivets by drilling holes in it to reattach the handle...yeah right...pretty disgusting. I had difficulty drilling through the heavy duty pan....but finally did it, drilled holes through the handle, and reattached it to the pan with nuts and bolts. My repair job lasted about a week till the flimsy handle ripped open where the bolts were and the handle tore completely off.I am now searching for another pooper scooper made by a different company. I'm going to try the Four Paws Rake Set for Pet Waste Removal since it has a lot of good reviews. It's also only $15.00 so even if it doesn't last long it is much cheaper than this Little Stinker was.Why is it so difficult for these companies to make a simple pooper scooper that will last? I think it is so you have to keep coming back to buy another one when the first one breaks. If someone would make a tray and pan out of one solid piece of stainless steel metal, and make the scooper and handle out of one piece of stainless steel, I'd be willing to pay around $100-$150 to have some equipment that should last almost a lifetime.I'm pretty disgusted with the frequency and expense of replacing a simple yet very vital and important tool! Maybe I should design my own and market it...just might just do that since after trying many different brands, it seems I'd have no competition for a quality pooper scooper .ORIGINAL REVIEW...This is a very well built pooper scooper, but the tray is to heavy. The tray doesn't need to be that indestructible. On others that I have bought it's usually the handles that break away from the pans. not the pans breaking. The handle is attached to the pan by rivits...this means if the handle breaks off then you will probably have to drill to put regular screws in. I wish that screws had been used to make future repairs easier. It is so heavy it almost takes two hands to hold steady, and is not balanced so I can't sling it over the wheelbarrow handles and have it stay put. It falls off due to the heavy tray.I would prefer a lighter tray that is attached to the handle with screws instead of rivets so that repairs would be easy when the handle eventually comes loose from the tray either due to old age or being ran over.. etc..The spade is very well built and heavy duty. I like it. The metal handles on the tray and spade are wonderful. No rotting and breaking like the wooden ones made by other companies. The adjuster for the handle length constantly needs to be readjusted. Not sure if it's my fault or not, but I thought that I had firmly twisted it in place. If they would make the tray lighter and attach the handles with screws...I'd give this scooper a five rating. But the way it is right now I'm giving it a three.

This makes poop fun
I never thought I’d say this, but this makes poop pick-up fun! I have two small dogs (under 10 lbs) just so everyone knows, and I got the small size.I always used to go out into our backyard with plastic bags and have to bend over to get each little pile and it was annoying.Now.....I love poop pick-up and it’s so much quicker, cleaner, and easier.I love that the handles extend, so no more bending over! And the “scooper” is bent/angled just right. It picks up everything on the grass and it’s super easy on the cement.Anyway, I love this thing and can’t believe I waited so long to get it.Thank yooouuuuuu

Good one.
Bought this for the second time. First didn’t break, I just lived for a while with no yard and we had to use poo bags. But bought this one again with a new yard. I like the adjustable height. The size of the small one is good for most sized dogs. You might just want a bigger o e if you have a great dane sized or multiple german shepherd sized. But it works good for 1 large and 2 medium dogs.
