Amazon Basics Apple MFi-Certified USB A Cable with Lightning Connector, Premium Collection - 6 Feet (1.8 Meters) - Single - Silver

I purchased the Amazon Basics 3-Foot Lightning Cables (12-pack) mainly to keep extras around the house, in the car, and at the office—and I’m really glad I did. Each cable is MFi certified, so I’ve had zero issues with compatibility or weird error messages on my iPhone or iPad. The 3-foot length is ideal for desktop or nightstand use, and while it’s not super long, it’s more than enough for charging in most everyday situations. I was surprised by how well-made they feel—the connectors are reinforced, and the cables have held up well after months of daily use. No fraying, no loose ends, and they still fit tightly into both devices and wall chargers. This bulk pack is a real lifesaver if you’re constantly misplacing cables or just want to stop moving one charger around all the time. I’ve also handed a few out to friends and coworkers, and they’ve all worked flawlessly. Small note: If you're expecting ultra-fast charging, keep in mind these are standard USB-A to Lightning—not USB-C or fast-charging cables. But for regular charging and syncing, they work just fine. Bottom line: sturdy, consistent, and extremely cost-effective for anyone in the Apple ecosystem.

Better than genuine Apple cables in my opinion. These cables are built to last. They’re nice and rigid in the spots right at and behind the Lightning and USB connectors so they’re unlikely to get separated there. I have 6 of these, none of them have had any troubles. I’ve had at least 10 Lightning cables die in me in the past three years, so to have these last as long as they do, I’m sold on these. I don’t plan to use any other cable as long as these are available. One of the biggest problems I’ve noticed with Lightning cables is the metal contacts on the Lightning connector tend to corrode or deteriorate. Rendering them useless. None of my Amazon Premiums have exhibited that issue. The price is excellent for the quality of the cable. Works with my iPhone 7 and my daughters XR. My daughter is extremely rough on her cables and she hasn’t managed to kill one of these yet. I have these in my cars and in several locations around my house. These also come with a nice Velcro strap, which I don’t use for the intended purpose. Don’t waste money on genuine Apple cables. You can get two of these for the same price and they’re at least as good if not better.

Purchased March 2020 These cables have lasted longer then any other cable and I’ve tried MANY. My wife is VERY hard on cables, she notoriously pulls cables out of her devices by the cord, not the head. So they all end up fraying or separating. She has not destroyed these yet. I’m responsible for equipment purchases at work and now that I’m satisfied with these cables I’ll be stocking them. UPDATE March 2022 I’m still using my 2 cables everyday for the past two years and they look and held up great. My wife’s was in the same condition but today my cat knocked her iPad off her table when it was plugged in. It fell full weight of the tablet and zagg case right onto the cable which split it apart and snapped the metal end off as it came out. Ugh! Wouldn’t you know, they are no longer available. I so wish I had bought a bunch of these.

Thick and durable. Seems well made. Only time will tell lasting durability. Working well after 5 months This cable failed after about a year. In my experience that’s to be expected. For the money, getting a year of use from a cable at this price point is sufficient.

I purchased the 4 inch cables because anything longer just leaves a mess of wires. I plugged them into a 5 port charging hub so it's much more organized to have shorter cables plugged in for the sole purpose of charging. Trying to use your phone while these are plugged in is not ideal, but also not what they're designed for. I used to use Anker brand charging cables but they only seem to last 6-12 months before they start failing because they use poor metals on their contacts. I've had a lot better luck with Amazon cables lately so I've decided to use this brand exclusively from now on, aside from the cables that are included with the Apple devices I buy. Overall, these do a very good job. If they stop functioning in an unreasonable amount of time (I expect them to last at least a couple years without being negligent to them), I'll update the review.

Very excellent product. I’ve been using this for several months now and I’m impressed. Compared to the similarly priced basic Apple branded charging cable you can get, the value here is incredible. The cable actually feels like it’s protected and high quality which is strange for an Amazon basics product. I’ve been using this for several months now and it’s still as new as when I took it out of the box, with no cracks, splits, fraying, or any type of damage. It’s essentially a nice, hard plastic with rubber wrapped around the base of the plug to prevent damage. Works well! I’m going to buy type-C in the future from them

I hate how Apple's default cables break all the time, it seriously drives me notes. I grabbed a 10 pack of the 6 ft on black Friday because I was tired of never having cables that work. Now I've thrown out all of the broken cables from Apple. These also work with carplay and are MFI certified, so that is a plus. Black looks better in the car as well. They are stiffer than the Apple cables, I'm assuming because they are more durable. Time will tell, but for now they definitely feel that way. You can see in the picture how they are stronger and stiffer, reinforced at the end.

Theses a decent Lighting cords, until the stop working. I made a mistake and took Amazon at their word. I chose this item specifically because of the warranty. When it stopped working, I reached out to Amazon. I was told that I was outside the return window. (DUH!). The item was purchased nearly a year ago, but the Amazon website indicated that I was still in the one year replacement window. Hummm. I guess they figure one year is LIFETIME for some. Then the representative told to contact the manufacturer, when I told the representative it’s an Amazon Basics product she responded that it was too bad and told me to google it! So I tried again. Thankfully this representative was helpful. When she tried to issue a refund, the SYSTEM wouldn’t allow it, because I am too close to the end of the replacement window. So the representative did a work around and gave me a $10.00 credit. I made the purchase 4/22/2020, and paid $14.49. So my LIFETIME WARRANTY is actually for 2/3 the price and 349 days. Like I said, BUYER BEWARE!

Utilisation du câble depuis plus d'un mois, j'en suis plutôt satisfait au vu du prix. Le câble semble bien solide par rapport à la plupart surtout au niveau de la connexion.

Une qualité exceptionnelle en effet les connecteurs USB sont entièrement en métal et également le côté Lightning. Le câble est un peu rigide mais je pense que cela est nécessaire pour sa solidité. Kabel macht einen von der Verarbeitung und Materialwahl einen hochwertigen ersten Eindruck. Keine Verarbeitungsfehler zu erkennen, alle Verbindungen sind sauber verklebt/verschweißt. Von der Materialauswahl macht es aus meiner Sicht einen hochwertigeren Eindruck im Vergleich zum Original-Kabel des Handy-Herstellers: Etwas dickere Materialien, etwas robuster und auch der Übergang zum Lightning-Anschluss schient besser verarbeitet und gegen Kabelbruch geschützt zu sein. Kabel in 07/2019 gekauft. Somit noch keine Langzeit-Erfahrung zur Haltbarkeit möglich.
