Part of the “black holder” on the device is starting to melt after only using the device three or four times. WHY???? It’s never ran for more than fifteen minutes at a time. Something is over heating I know but it shouldn’t after such little usage.

When my glass bead warmer finally quit working I was actually looking for a unit to replace it, that is another glass bead warmer. After finding more hot air warmers than I did glass bead warmers I called a couple of wholesale labs that we work with and they either used 100 percent hot air warmers or had both, an older glass bead pan and a newer hot air warmer. They recommended the hot air warmer. So after only using a glass bead warmer for 30 years I decided to try the hot air warmer and I must say my opticians now prefer it over the glass beads. This unit seems heavy duty enough that it should last for many years with the added advantage of having practically instant heat first thing in the morning without having to wait for the glass beads to warm up. The temperature is also more controllable and its on only when needed instead of 8-10 hours a day. This means it is more energy efficient. You also have the ability to target focus the heat to a small area if needed, which is very handy. This seems like a very good unit for the price and I am very happy with the purchase.

I work at an optical, and the heater we had broke. And this is one is amazing. Heats up glasses pretty quick. You don’t even have to leave them heating up that much as I did with the old one.

This item goes for double when you try to purchase it from some of the larger Optical companies. This one came in very fast, works perfectly, and had all parts as advertised. I would definitely buy from this company again!

Total waste of money. Purchased on May 13,2026 stopped working today July 9,2026. With very minimal use. Total junk
