It's a beautiful light, and does it's job well for a reasonable price, especially when compared to with other designer lamps. My specific unit came with nice stiff joints (no issues with it holding itself up as mentioned in negative reviews). If you get a good one it's great :)Light output: It's not bright enough to light a room. It does it's job well as a task / desk lamp though. The three modes are nice, and the remote works well.Construction: the lamp is super light (ie not heavy). Given that the lamp positioning is purely based upon resistance in the joints being light is probably a good thing though. I'll update the review if the joints start loosening over time. Being so light, It does feel a little flimsy though.Design: Having the wiring completely internal is a nice touch. The lamp has a super sleek and modern look.

Newest Update: previous review still applies.However, I find that this lamp is much like those $18-$30 selfie ring lamps but a some what brighter at max. So im rather disappointedAlso there waa protective tape on the lamP.. I took it out and it looks nicer and lets a bit more light out. Honestly this thing ia beautiful but they left out alot of what would be desired… man… these businesses need to stop with the BS. Competition theory my but. We dont need companies to compete for progress. It's a lie. The mother or father of invention is necessity… not competition. The only reason we need businesses is to compete is because of how the rules and money are set to flow influences.Before: Warmth? There's no heat. The warm color mode is just right.Brightness is sufficient, especially if you dont have it too high. It needs more brightness in some cases..The stepless dimming is partially confusing.How th do you not know how to set this up? Baka.There is alot of room for improvement.The product isnt Thick. Which is good. It's arms are shallow .. Which is fine but makes it feel cheap.

I love the sleek style and LED brightness of this lamp but disappointment set in after only a couple days - the arm tends to just fall, the joints don't hold tight. I attempted to tighten the screws but they already are. The only way I can keep it up is to balance the position. Looking for a way to lock this into a permanent position now. The other disappointment is that the light periodically starts to flicker...very annoying! If you re-position the lamp slightly it usually corrects the matter until it starts again.

The lamp received will not stand under its own weight. The design for the jointed sections is poor. In my case, the joint nearest the base was too loose to support the rest of the lamp, so it just flopped over. There is no way to tighten. Upon inspection, it looks like over time all of the joints would loosen with no way to tighten. Disappointing. Returning the item.

I love clamp style architect lamps! They don't take up space on the desk and are flexible enough to illuminate the whole desk or a specific area as required. The first one I ever got was an IKEA one which I still have. For my new standing desk, I was looking for something sleek and modern yet unobtrusive and simple; something that provided the coverage of a tube-light yet the power efficiency and gentleness of LED. I was taken aback at the features, quality and elegance of this lamp! It's like the designer of this lamp read my mind and made exactly what I wanted!

I ordered the first one, and the lower hinge did not at all support the weight of the lamp, i.e. unless you put everything up straight vertical, the lamp would just tilt over and drop flat on the table. The hinges are not adjustable (at least not with any standard tools), so you cannot fix the problem. A few days later, I received a replacement lamp - it was slightly better and could hold itself at maybe a 20 degree angle, but once I went beyond this, it again tilted over. I am sure they have produced many lamps that worked just fine (given the many positive ratings), but I am kind of done trying to see if I can get one ... had to send both back.The design is actually quite nice, hence 2 starts instead of 1.

This desk lamp is simple and elegant. The different lighting options are awesome, the warm light really helps with mood on days when it's grey out, this light is like having sunlight over your head. I wish it would remember the preferred light option, but it's not that big of a deal, you just have to turn it on and of couple of times to get your desired light option.I have it set up above my monitor so I don't move it around much, it can be a little delicate if you are going to move it around.

The lamp itself is well made and the brightness controls works well. the tension on the joints however is not strong enough that on certain positions the lamp gets top heavy and doesn't stay in place. But overall I like it.

I was looking for an LED light that I could change colour temperature, was dimmable, and had flexible positioning. This it. I tried several desk lamps that failed in one way or another, mostly for lack of brightness and flexibility.I work with a 40 inch LCD computer monitor and wanted lighting over my keyboard. I use MacAlly and Logitech solar keyboards of which there is no backlit version available, hence the need for lighting. This light allows me to position it low and just in front of the keyboard. There is no light reflection off the monitor, as happens with any other type desk light unless it's directed away from the monitor.The build quality is exceptional, it's mostly aluminum and steel. The arm joints are high quality and can be tightened with a provided allen key wrench. I've had other arm type lights in the past where the joint hardware always failed after months of use.The only down side is you have to turn the light on and off to toggle through the 3 different colour temperatures. It's not a big nuisance but it would have been nicer if they provided a separate button for that as is common on other LED lights with these features.After several attempts to find the right solution for my needs I'm thrilled that this works so well.I'm going to buy another.
