ARC 10 Inch Heavy Duty Cast Iron Tortilla Press with Non-Slip Foot Pad

We had bought a different tortilla press that was a total waste of time and money. It literally broke within first use. Naturally, we were a little hesitant on buying this. It is sturdy, easy to clean, fairly good size, and we have made several tortillas (batches of 15-20) daily without any issue! Highly recommend it!

Just what I wanted. A lot heavier than I thought.

I’m extremely impressed with the ARC Tortilla Press 10.4" Cast Iron Tortilla Maker. The build quality is outstanding—heavy, sturdy cast iron that feels durable and built to last. It presses tortillas evenly and effortlessly, giving perfectly round, consistent results every time. The included 100 pieces of parchment paper are a huge bonus and make the process clean and mess-free. Nothing sticks, and cleanup is quick and easy. The 10.4" size is perfect not only for tortillas but also for quesadillas, empanadas, roti, and even homemade flatbreads. I also love the sleek black and gray finish—it looks great on the counter and stores easily. This press delivers professional-quality results at home and makes cooking more enjoyable.

This 10” press is big and heavy and does a great job on corn tortillas with very minimal effort. I wasn’t as impressed with flour tortillas though, they just don’t get thin enough, they are more like pita bread and it works great for that. I did get the 10” so I could make thin flour tortillas, so I was a little disappointed. You can get them round with this press but you will still have to hand roll them to get the gossamer wing thin tortillas like at the taqueria. For corn tortillas, I found that I can get more uniform rounds and make them much faster using a small ice cream disher style scoop. They come out perfectly round and the flat side keeps them in place better, way more efficient then making a million little uneven balls. Your dough must be soft and pliable, many recipes I tried were way to dry and crumbly and required a lot more water, so be sure the dough is moist. This works with very minimal effort, you don’t have to put all your weight on the handle, just a gentle but firm press that’s it. This has a painted enamel like finish on cast iron so it won’t rust. It will chip away where the handle presses the outside of the plate, no big deal, just a little missing paint in a tiny spot. Also, expect quite a bit of play side to side where the handle bolts through but it doesn’t seem to matter and they all seem to do that. I do like this press, I’m still glad I got the 10” even though it doesn’t make thin flour tortillas because we do make a lot of flat bread and pitas and it’s great for that. This one is made in China, not Mexico.

Decided to try and make tortillas before iron came and after trying & failing with a good tasting one I CXL the order decided to keep buying them, Recipe was so simple do not know what went wrong but threw them out after one bite, I hand rolled them did not beat bought ones.

This press for my home made corn tortillas is great. I use it two times a day. Nice heavy duty yet easy to use. I use my hands to press down the outside first, then I use the press bar. My tortillas come out just the right thickness. I am super happy with this product.
