I do this enjoy these projects as a hobby, but i should have been more careful about this one. After now reading the reviews my project has done the same as another one in the reviews. It smoked very shortly after adding 12v of power. Ill see how returning goes... if even possible. So please save your time and cash and move on.

Applied 12v and it fried. Replaced the 4017 chip and one light section works. The 555 chip is probably fried, too. But I don't happen to have one on hand. It's a neat little project, that I think is interesting, but the components are faulty.

I am a qualified electronic technician and put it together and it fried the incident I put 12 volts to it as specified in the blueprints don't know why it fried still trying to figure that out myself
