I have an in home art studio and I wanted an entire wall reserved for in progress paintings. I needed an easy solution that didn't involve putting dozens of holes in the wall. I got the wall hanging system and have purchased these extra clips a few times. They're very sturdy Ive never had an issue with art falling or slipping. The appearance is nice because you can't even see the clips. They hang everything as stable as if you put a hanger on the wall. I found that its easiest to use when your art or picture has a wire hanger on the back. The price for me is great because I don't have to pay h multiple holes or worry about our renters deposit.

This hard-to-find, ingeniously simple solution needs a new product name. It was difficult to search for. "What are these things called?" These doo-dads are perfect. Small, flat and ingeniously simple to use. I searched for so long before finding them because I did not know what search words to use. I also appreciate the Dutch treat in the packaging. You know what they say? "If it ain't Dutch, it ain't much!" As if that was not enough, I had been looking for a decent pen. I recently threw away all my crappy ones. Truly, a miracle, life-saving, survival purchase.

Easy to use. The only complaint I have, and it may not be the fault of this item, but it is impossible to hang some of my frames without this showing. I am going to have to move the hooks on the back of my picture frames in order to hide this. It does not show on every frame I hung; that's why I say it may not be anything wrong with this item. I just want everyone to know that I had this issue.

Cost effective, suitable for all but very heavy paintings, can use more than one on a cord to stack frames. Love this system. No more nails!

Great picture hanging system

I use these hooks with Shades Perlon Loop Cord. The cord is 2mm in diameter, and the hooks grip it very well. The hooks are springs that you squeeze to align the holes. You then slip the hooks onto the cord and release at the desired point on the cord. The hooks' height can be readjusted simply by squeezing and sliding. Once released, the hooks dig into the cord a little, making it virtually impossible for the hooks to slide. Heavy pictures, mirrors, or the like may require two cords and hooks. These hooks do not work well with lighter cord, such as the Invisible Hanging Wire (made of nylon), avaialble on Amazon. The spring is too strong and distorts the wire, making the hook hang crooked. For lighter objects, use the Invisible Hanging Wire with Shades Micro Hooks.

Great for hanging lightweight artwork.

I continue buy this product because there are limited options available. After several years of using this clip hook, here are my thoughts: PROS -Small -Light -Easy to adjust -Works with screw eyes and D-rings -Small profile can be used near the top of frame without showing -Use 2 to keep picture level -Size and shape keeps it closer to the wall than some others -Use several on 1 wire to hang multiple pictures CONS -Overpriced -Slips over time if picture is too heavy -Only holds 8 lbs -Easy to accidentally bend out of shape I have just ordered 12 new hooks from a different company on Amazon. They are half the price, stronger, easy to adjust, support much heavier pictures, and will not slip. I will edit this when I have more experience with the replacement hooks.
