Kcpbl Plastic Blender for Nutone Built in Food Center 250, 251 and the Kitchen Center Power Base

I ordered this for my Nutone 250. I read all of the reviews that indicated that the securing ring did not fit the 250 series and to make it work, you need to swap the ring from your old blender. Well, I don’t have the old blender, but I took a chance anyway. Sure enough, the reviews were right but I don’t give up that easily. I took the ring off and set it in place to see why it would not lock. It turns out that the outer diameter of the locking tabs is about 1mm too big. I used a grinder to take just a tiny bit off of each tab until I had a perfect fit. In less than 5 minutes, I had a perfect replacement for my missing blender!

The Blender works great but I need to replace the built in switch. It seems broken. Who do I call?

Great replacement for a food center which has been out of production for so many years. Fits into its base more securely than the original one ever did!

This is the second time I bought this product. The first one started leaking and had to be scrapped. The cap on the cover of the second one broke into pieces (see photo) after a couple of uses. Two small pieces of plastic were found in the spicy tomato soup I made today.

It looks great! However, the lock ring is just a bit too thick for the base. Either I will be machining the thickness down on the new one or adding holes the old one for the locator pins and using it. I do like that it can be disassembled for easy cleaning though.

Very cheap the original was a beauty this China stuff is crap!

I was so grateful to find this on Amazon! It hadn’t occurred to look here first now I’ve learned my lesson! This fit the built-in blender in the bar at my parent’s house and my mom had been looking for a replacement for months! It works perfectly and better yet, it’s quieter than the previous one. They’re super happy so thank you Amazon once again for coming through with something that we about to give up on!!

We have an older model 50's vintage Nutone 221 center, and normally this blender shouldn't be a fit, but some of the previous purchasers posted reviews saying that if you still have the old style blender, this one would fit by swapping out the mounting flange plate for the old one. I tried it and it was very easy to do. The new blender differs by having thicker tabs on the plate that won't fit the old Nutones. Just three screws removed the old plates from bottoms of the old and new blenders, then I screwed old plate to the base of the new blender and it works a treat! Now I have a better blender that has more blades and can be dis-assembled for cleaning. Bob's your Uncle. Very nice having the helpful hints from the customer community!
