Perfect to reduce electricity costs!
This is a handy little product! I bought them to put into a standard socket in my blow mold yard decorations. You just screw the adapter into the socket with your fingers. Be careful that the light is not plugged in. I just turned it, and stuck my finger in the center opening to finish turning it. Make sure it is screwed in tight so the proper connection is made. You can then screw in a C7 size bulb or candelabra bulb with the smaller base. Great way to reduce electric use if you do not need a large bulb and can use a smaller bulb.

Perfect adapters!
These adapters were a life-saver! I couldn't find these anywhere in my town in the home improvement stores or department stores. I am slowly transitioning from compact fluorescent bulbs to LED lights in my home, so i had extra candalabra base fluorescent bulbs that couldn't be used in most fixtures in my home. These adapters worked perfectly, and, they are UL listed, which is a big deal for me. They are also compact in size, so you dont lose much (or any) space. The price for these units is a bargain as well, and shipping was fast. Overall, perfect 5 star.

enables candelabra bulb use in standard lamp socket
Works as advertised: allows me to use small candelabra bulbs in any standard lamp socket. I prefer using small lamps as night-lights.

From "Shock and Awe" . . . . . To "AHHHHHHH"
We have two small desk/table lamps that only take a low-wattage light bulb with the regular size base. Since trying the "Reveal" type of light bulbs in them, my wife and I prefer the light they produce much more than the "Soft White" or other types of bulbs. The only problem is finding the low-wattage "Reveal" bulbs in our retail stores. One day while shopping in our Wally-World store, I thought I hit the jackpot in the electrical / light bulb aisle. I saw an entire pegboard hook of the low-wattage "Reveal" light bulbs we had been trying to find. I pulled four two-bulb packages of these light bulbs and put them in my shopping cart and went on my way to get everything written on the shopping list and return home in time to catch the start of the NASCAR race I wanted to watch. My wife was happy that I found everything on her list and volunteered to unpack the bags and put everything away so I could watch the race. (Gotta' love her!) The next time one of the "Reveal" bulbs burned out in one of our lamps, I got out our "light bulb storage" box and reached for one of the packages of the low-wattage "Reveal" bulbs I needed. When I pulled the first package out, I was shocked to see the bulbs had the "mini" base. I pulled out the second package and was dismayed to find the same mini-base bulbs in it. The third package was a duplicate of the first two. So I desperately pulled out the fourth, and last, package of these bulbs and was relieved to see it contained the bulb I needed to replace the burned out bulb. Having resolved that problem, I now had a new problem to solve. How could I use these mini-base bulbs in a lamp with a regular size fixture? I immediately went to Amazon.com for help (much better than using the "Call a Friend" option on the Pyramid game show!). A quick search led me to this UL-listed Mini-base Bulb-to-Regular Base Fixture Adapter. I placed my order, Amazon.com got them shipped out the same day, and they were in my hands two days after I ordered them. Best of all, they are very easy to use. Just screw the Adapter into the lamp's light bulb Fixture, then screw the mini-base Bulb into the Adapter. Turn the lamp's switch "On", and . . . . you have wonderful, beautiful "Reveal" wavelength light streaming from the lamp.

Good brand and UL approved and most are not.
These are a very neat and handy item and hard to find. One big box store had them in 2packs a few years ago but now this is the only and best place. I use these in some of my lamps along with a night light bulb 4w which works great and lamps look much nicer than a plugin nite light. You can place them where there needed and they stay on all the time which saves me from using top high watt lights. And nice ambience around the house.

!!!DO NOT BUY!!! PRODUCT RECEIVED DOES NOT MATCH LISTING!
What I received is exactly the OPPOSITE of what was advertised!1. Safety certification: Claimed UL. Actual product has no markings on packaging or product. The rim of the adapter is narrow and blank rather than wide with the UL symbol. There are NO certifications of ANY kind - no ETL either.2. Materials: Claimed ceramic. Actual product is (and marked as) PBT, a type of plastic.Looking at previous reviews, I think the shipped product used to match the description listing, but no longer does. Whether this is by accident, system error, or intentional fraud is open for interpretation.

Works good but breaks easy
Got six, one has already broken when I changed the bulb. The copper contact on the side broke off and now the adapter does not work. I hope the others don't break also.
