Ask The Right Question: The Essential Sourcebook Of Good Dowsing Questions

As a dowser, I'm often asked about how to phrase the question for the most accurate answer. This book sums it up so well that I recommend it to all my students and anyone else who inquires. This book takes the guesswork out of whether or not the question is the best it can be by providing guidelines of what should be included starting with making the dowser ask themselves what is the goal of the question...what is it they are really trying to find out/ask. Having determined the goal brings clarity to the remaining information as one answers the who, when, where, how, why, and what. Another aspect of this book that I like is that it is concise. It covers exactly what it states and only adds additional information when needed.

I am Vice President of the San Jose Ca. Chapter of the American Association of Dowsers, and this book is one of the finest books I have studied in the dowsing field. In dealing with the subconscious mind (which actually does the dowsing), how you frame the question equally important as to exactly what you are asking. Maggie and Nigel Percy have put together a "bible" of questioning techniques that are essential to getting the job done, because they lay out, in everyday language, exactly how to word the question. Most of the time, most of us are not cognizant on exactly what the words we are using really mean. The subconscious mind can be very confused as to what the conscious mind is really asking for. Maggie and Nigel are experts at word usage, question framing, and of course, dowsing. If Amazon had ten stars, I would be asking for twelve. This book is the bible I use when teaching beginning dowsing, pendulum and dowsing instrument usage. Great job Maggie and Nigel, great job!

I'm going to recommend you buy the hard copy of this book . I bought the Kindle copy because I needed it now to help write questions to decide on some of my votes. Not trusting what I had read on different candidates I needed answers. The book was very helpful in getting those questions written. Now I wish to have the hard copy so I expect I'll wind up with both. We all know a well stated question is needed get a correct answer when dowsing. This book helped me see it's much easier to write the question when you have a well stated goal. Writing and defining the goal actually creates your question. The book is well written and easy to read. Great set of questions at the end of each chapter. Another essential book for your dowsing library.

Besides being in a "dowsing state", the dowsing question itself is the jumping off point that makes the rest of the dowsing operation a success. The Percys have extensive experience in various forms of dowsing, and are able to convey that knowledge very well in their writings. The "who, what, how, where and why" all have to be included in the question, they tell us. At first blush this seems so obvious that you may wonder, "Why even mention it"? Yet when it comes to the actual experience of doing it, many dowsers fall short of remembering to include all five of the above in their dowsing questions, if they even know to include them to begin with! This book will help you be sure that every dowsing question you ask from now on will be "the right question!"

There was a lot of good informatin but also disappointing. The book has references stating "in the "Resource" section, but there is nothing in that section. Page 74 states there's a link for Anneliese's "health dowsing book," but there is no link. On pages 77, 96, 117, and 149, it is written, "We include two blanks, so remember to save one for copying..." each page pertaining to a list of questions. I have no idea what/where the two blanks are included for me to copy. In the early part of the book there is some criticism of how some Dowsers do their work. In listening to many speakers in the Dowsing groups, many have their own unique approach. Can we really say that they are wrong? I would like to have access to the information that I referenced above. Thank you.

The art and skill of being specific in your questions is perhaps the most important aspect of developing a successful, accurate dowsing practice, and Maggie and Nigel Percy have written the best book I have read to date on this subject. It's detailed, thorough, and gives additional resources to further your dowsing education. The information on using both sides of the brain is new to me, and I believe will help take my dowsing to a new level. Anybody can learn to dowse; however becoming an accurate dowser takes regular practice and additional knowledge. They've given the knowledge in this excellent book. Now it is time to put these tips into practice.

Maggie and Nigel have offered the dowsing community yet ANOTHER HIT!!! Those of us who've been dowsing any length of time know just how important the right question we ask is to the quality and clarity of our dowsing, whether it be to locate things, evaluate health, relationships, or whatever. Kudos to you, Maggie and Nigel!!! Maggie's and Nigel's books and eBooks (as well as their programs, summits, and other events) are PURE GOLD to a dowser, and your digital or physical dowsing shelves should contain ALL their products. I am a professional dowser myself and whenever I teach others, I always refer them to Maggie and Nigel's website(s) and Amazon page.

This is a brilliant book. I've been dowsing for a number of years now and one of the most important things is asking the right questions. They explain things really well and I'd say if you're serious about dowsing, it's a must!!!

If you want to be consistent and get correct answers, you have to ask the right questions. This book will show you common mistakes and give you the tools to improve your results.

A very helpful and insightful book, great questions and explanation of each topic, a must for newbies and not so newbies into dowsing.

If you use kinesiology or dowsing then asking the right question is imperative. This couple share with you how to do exactly this. Highly recommend.

Authors write the book and tells you at the end of the book that this book is just first step and you should buy all other of their books, workshops and videos. Such a hard sell.
