To install a barn door without the headboard, we drilled additional holes in the bar itself and used these additional screws to secure the bar to the studs in the wall. For $10 and 5 minutes worth of drilling we have a perfect and stable barn door with a minimum side gap as it sits flush to the wall.

easy to install, good sturdiness and quality. good value for the money. The door dis not come with enough for every hole that was predrilled. Door could have been mounted without the extra spacers, but appearance is important too

I had installed a sliding barn door track that was 9 ft in length. The 4.5 ft sections were designed to be able to connect together to obtain the length you need. Therefore, there was an extra mounting hole that a lag and spacer was not provided for. This product exactly matched the color, diameter, length, and standoff for the track. I am extremely pleased with this product and seller.
