Best product it functions well

Very low quality panels. Connected two in parallel, still not enough current to power a small dc motor. Spend more and buy any other quality solar panels.

I was looking for a solar panel for DIY projects and this looked great, as far as display images go and the price point. So, I went ahead and ordered two, but was disappointed once I opened the packet. 🎁 INSIDE BOX ••••••••••••••••••• 1x Solar Panel (without any soldered connection wire) ➕ PROS •••••••••••• 1. Works well and provide good generation during full sun (up to 6.5 volt based on intensity of sunlight) 2. Current rating is suited for light work (glowing LEDs etc), and cant handle motor kind of equipment directly. e.g., 1.5v DC motor will need ~0.2 amp current while this can only provide 0.1 amp at peak exposure. So, you will need to connect a few panels in parallel and have voltage regulator in place to run the motor. 3. Front is transparent plastic and comes laminated initially ➖ CONS •••••••••••• When I opened the package, doubts that arose basis issues faced by others as well came true. I also have the primary issue with the quality of the panel and you could see cost cutting everywhere. This panel has two primary issues: 1. Back and front, both are made of plastic, so it will be a challenge to solder/desolder connection wire to the back. Plastic will melt. It should ideally have been fiberglass. 2. Connection terminals are mere flimsy flat wires coming out of plastic back, which may break even during testing, forget about long term usage. It would be difficult to solder it as well. You don't have copper soldering points on fiberglass, which are durable. ✍ FINAL VERDICT •••••••••••••••••••••••• I will not recommend this product for the cons mentioned above, as those simply defy its utility. You will need be extremely carefull with the usage and even with that you may end up rendering it useless after a few cycles.
