SUPER POWERFUL MACEBELL IS THE REAL DEAL
Wow. What a serious unique workout item!!!This is made for demolition work; or gladiator fights. Really this is the most awesome โthingโ that I have ever bought for working out. Possibly the coolest mace on the market. Itโs heavy (even at the relatively small weight); itโs built or overbuilt for crushing your different moves to strengthen your โmace movesโ into part of the Avengers! I am not sure yet on the best workout use of this crazy cool macebell. But itโs a great piece of really old school training. Plus itโs something that when you feel control over; you have made some major strength increases. I would say for a normal human that the lighter weight option is a good idea. Me... I love making the heavy choice every time. This will par for itself just in the number of people asking โwhat the **** is that?โ

Seroius Exercise tool
Oh, my!! Received my steel mace today after incredibly fast shipping. I can say that I am glad that I listened to my fellow reviewers and ordered the 15 pound mace instead of feeling all cavemanish and going heavier. I work out ALOT with kettle bells and move some heavy weight there. I am in quite decent shape. These things, however, make you move and work in ways you are not commonly used to. I hastily unpackaged it ( it arrived in perfect condition with no mars or paint chips) and went through a routine that I had discovered online . This thing will hurt your pride!! I look forward to working this mace into my kettle bell and other routines here in my modest home gym and I can tell it will challenge me for some time to come. I am very happy with this purchase and with the excellent product I have received and I also am excited to add yet another tool to aid me in developing functional strength for HEMA and Filipino martial arts. Thank you again for an excellently made product.

Looks, acts, and feels just like a steel mace
Well... it's a mace LOL. Works great. I will say the handle is slightly larger than the others that I have, but not so much that it's concerning. I will say that small handed peeps might struggle handling (might be that it's the 15lb version. Not sure of the handle diameter of the smaller ones). This is my 3rd mace and my first from CAP. I have a quad mace from onnit and another 10 lb one from... yeah not sure who that one is made by. Great tools to use at home. I really like them. Highly recommend this type of training and CAP for that matter. Solid construction and works as expected. The knurls on handle aren't as aggressive as others either and I like that. the CAP Mace doesn't tear up my hands as much at the others. Happy "Mace swinging" if you get one!

No reason to spend more on Onnit.
I've been interested in Macebells for some time, mostly due to Chris Duffin's videos and praise. Not too long ago I handled a Wolf Brigade macebell at my gym and quickly grew to enjoy the challenge and mechanics of the movements, but felt the 20lb Wolf mace was too heavy for me to start with. So I bought this smaller, 15lb macebell and just finished my first hour long session with it. I feel that 15lbs was the right choice for a wider, challenging range of exercises, but that the 10lb option would have worked best as a shoulder mobility/warmup mace. Here are my stats:161lbsB: 245x1 (history of wrist injuries)S: 395x1 (I'm a T-rex)D: 425x1OHP: 155x1Mace 360s: I had the strength to do 3 sets of 15 reps in each direction (30 reps total) before my shoulders and grip would start giving out and need to rest a bit, this thing is surprisingly taxing on grip/forearms. By set 4 I couldn't get more than 10 reps. I was also doing a ton of other macebell exercises, like overhead press (also 15 reps per side, surprisingly difficult!) split squats, shovels, curls, and lateral raise (holy crap doing a lat raise gripping just 6 inches from the bell was an AWESOME grip exercise.)My upper body strength is relatively bad, but if you're weaker than I am then definitely go for the 10lbs or lighter, my 30 reps is considered "low" from what I've seen mace guys doing with 360s. (millions and millions and millions and millions of reps)As for the product itself, it's great. Good length, heft, knurling, thickness, minimal trademarkings, nice matte finish. It's simple and they did it well. Mine was busted through the packaging at some point, could have been from the walk to the front door that it happened or it could have happened in transit. The mace itself was completely unmarked, but the company's choice in boxes may need to be reassessed. I look forward to including the mace into a lot of my programming, just for a fun change really.

Awesome equipment, came in a bit banged up
Love swinging the macebell, the only reason why I didnโt give it a 5 stars.- Macebell wasnโt packaged well, but by the time it arrived at my doorstep, the box was ripped up... the bubble wrap was in shreds and the handle of the macebell was dented. If your a newbie to the Mace, I would strongly suggest that you start with a 5lb, the 10lb is fantastic but if youโre not strong enough will induce poor form. Better to start light and build up. 20lbs would be way too much for a beginner, even if you were strong enough to handle it, if youโve never swung a mace before you will either hurt yourself, break stuff around you or develop very poor form.

Would recommend any user to start with 10lbs as beginners...
Havent used it but it came today ( 15 lb )Gotta say even at 6'7 285 lbs...this macebell felt more like 25-30lbs. I see the weight n all listed at 15lbs but upon picking it up casually as i carried it in the house...i was wondering this is a heavy 15bs LoLI decided on this from the reviews to get it as a new user. Will see how I do with it n update the review n such.In hindsight i would tell folks interested in this...begin with 10lbs or 7lbs. Its vastly different than a dumbell or kb with the same weight due to mechanics n structure of the weight distribution

Great product! Highly recommend!
This barbell is excellent. It allows for a very dynamic full body workout that allows you to isolate muscle groups while simultaneously building your core and stabilizer groups. I haven't had it long, but it has become my main source of weightlifting and indoor cardio. I'm I relatively big guy, so I started with a 10#. Plan on upgrading soon, but will definitely keep the 10# around.
User
Well built. Great value.
Solid well built mace. Light enough for a beginner like me. Would buy another heavier when ready
User
Well made and well priced
This mace barbell will put a whole new spin on your workouts. I've gained a lot of shoulder mobility and mass. When ordering a mace considering ordering one a bit lighter than you'd expect. Because of torsion and leverage, a lighter weight gets heavy quick. Start slow and light and move into the bigger maces once you've had a chance to get to know the mace. Lots of fun and all your friends will want to try it.
