I am delighted to compose this review of the NJ Nelson Bar Stool. This company truly stands out for its exceptional customer service. In a culture where many companies have outsourced American jobs overseas and offer poor customer support, Nathan James Furniture is a breath of fresh air! I recently placed a call to them directly regarding this bar stool (to which I love btw) and expressed concern about the seat cushion and how it had become somewhat flat after just a year of regular use. Though out of my warranty period, they made an exception for me. I did not expect in a million years to phone this company and get this level of support, and most importantly- from an AMERICAN WORKER. Yes, this company is based right here in the US.Based on this expierience, I can certainly say this place goes above and beyond to ensure their customers' happiness! Their customer care advocates are understanding, caring, and genuinely interested in resolving any issues their customers may face. What impressed me the most is that their customer support is based right here in the United States, demonstrating their commitment to supporting American workers.I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for new furniture. Not only will you receive a beautiful, high-quality product, but you'll also have the assurance of exceptional customer support. Ppl are complaining about quality? Understandable the quality was an issue but Nathan James has taken action and fixed the issues i know first hand i purchased 5 of these when they came out at a premium price point. One of the stools failed on me after 1 year I contacted Amazon they put me through directly to Nathan James it was replaced in a matter of days!!! Last week another stool failed i contact customer Service directly again via email i spoke to Layla a Customer service rep and she had a new stool out to me in 3 days. Leyla informed me they redesigned the stools to a new configuration its depicted in the photos i added they are 100000% improved. I own a lot of NJ furniture sold because of how amazing their customer service is and how responsive they are. Id anybody has any issue i urge you to contact them this company stand’s behind their products like no other brand of furniture company I’ve ever dealt with 100% will continue to purchase their products and deal with them.

I liked this stool so much that I ordered a second one later. It is made out of powder coated steel, and the seat material is sturdy and attractive. Unfortunately there was an issue with one of the stools I purchased, and after contacting the company I received immediate friendly responses and solutions. Nathan James ended up flat out replacing the stool. No hassles, no hoops to jump through.Occasionally problems happen. As a long-time business owner, I know this. but I am also used to crappy service. Not only are the products I have purchased from NJ top notch, but they are backed by friendly people who want you to be happy with your purchase. Keep in mind that I did not get any discounts for writing this; I did not get any free merchandise. I am not associated with NJ. In fact, I really have no idea who they are other than that I bought a few stools and table off of Amazon that seem to be made by them. But I *do* know quality service. I can most highly recommend this stool (and also the matching table).

I bought these to replace some old bar stools that were once very heavy duty but now started falling apart. It is very hard to find something that isn’t flimsy junk these days. These are very sturdy, even better than I was anticipating and the cushions are amazing. I bought 8 of these stools and would absolutely buy these again.

Had these stools since June just to make sure and they're just as comfortable as they are beautiful. Easy to clean faux leather and beautiful material it's a brownish toned grey if you were wondering. When I first received the stools I had one very unbalanced wobbly stool and another stool that wouldn't allow a screw to drill in. So I contacted Nathan James as their instructions said to if there was any problems and they responded quickly. I emailed with Claire sent her pictures and a video of the problem I had with the stools and she arranged 2 stools to be shipped right away. I've bought a lot of furniture since we moved into our new townhome and this was the best customer service! 2 stools were shipped and they even improved how the cushions were secured already different from the 4 stools I ordered. I am very impressed with Nathan James products and their customer service! I intended to recommend and purchase other projects from this company!!

The stools are modern and stylish and comfortable. I ordered two separately, and this one came with different, non-adjustable feet. I called the company about it, and they immediately sent a replacement hardware package that should have had the feet in it but didn't. Customer service followed up with me via email when tracking showed it arrived, and I let them know what happened. They immediately had the right part resent to me, and again checked with me to be sure it was right. There are several barstools on Amazon from different companies that look like this, but after reading reviews, I bought these because others had commented on their customer service, and some who bought other products had issues that were not easily resolved. They were absolutely right, and I would highly recommend not only these stools, but this company.
