Rayson PD-1503 Coil Binding Machine 43-Hole 4:1 Spiral Binder with Inserter

It did not look like my 20 year old machine now not working. I wasn't certain it was the right machine for me, but followed the directions ..using something other than the 25 page with cover booklet just to see what it would do. What it did was ..made me smile at the way the coils worked their way neatly into the holes that it had first punched into the test and then into the booklet. Will it last the 20 years of the old one? No answer for that.

Al inicio me preocupaba la calidad y la dimensión de los arillos, sin embargo son estándar y es perfecto para trabajar con hojas tamaño carta.

No me gustó que llegó con la pintura rayada, el icopor que lo protege partido y la caja en mal estado.

Heavyweight and works as described. Accommodates several notebook sizes and makes clean cute. I’m very pleased. Works great for my small business.

We used this product to create 200 of our annual benefit catalogs. It was worth it to do this ourselves versus sending the books out to be created. Very easy to learn and it was a huge savings $$$ for us!

This product is super easy to use and convenient. Sturdy for the price. If you put a few too many pages, it does get stuck so need to be careful how many pages at one time.

Works as described. It's very sturdy and heavy. I have used on a project of about 20 customized coil-bound notebooks. My favorite thing about it is that I can adjust the starting punch position which is handy for oversized covers. I just wish it could punch more pages at a time. I can comfortably get about 10 pages and only 3 photo pages. Any more than that and you need a lot of elbow grease and it starts to get pretty loud. The power cord is very short so I don't use the auto coiling. It would be pretty difficult with oversized covers anyway, so no biggy. For regular size paper it's very fast and I found it almost too fast. To the point where I had to coil it back because it went too far.

Super easy to use! Holes punch easily even with thick lamination. Coil binder runs smooth, quick and easy. Finished product is super sturdy.

Good machine works well and well built

Très bien

The photos show special pliers for cutting the ends of the binding coils, but they are not included with the machine. I also noticed that the margin settings in the manual are different from what's shown online, and the manual ones are incorrect. My manual says red = 3mm margin, blue = 7mm margin, but those are backwards. Figured it out through trial and error. Overall, easy to set up and use. Includes a bag of about 15 binding coils (7/16" I think?) Wish I had known about the pliers, though, the photos are misleading.
